Just how much Volleyball  and  diving can you watch??

I saw a smidgen of discus,  , and     I saw the 100 metres, 200 and 400.

Has anyone seen Archery or  Pole vault or High jump ,long jump etc?

And what is it with the gymnastics scoring ?? how can a girl fall on her knees and still get a higher score   than  another  that finishes  without  a fall ???

What a great Sunday-the  glorious Manchester United are CHAMPIONS of the English Premier League.

Now I know a lot of you US folks dont care to much for soccer, but for those of you who do, and the BILLIONS of FANS worldwide !!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls,  - fed up with 4 hour stop start Football games, tired of falling asleep watching baseball?, bored with 10 foot tall black guys throwing a ball around on a tiny court?

Let me point you to the worlds greatest Football (Soccer-to you US citizens)  league in the world   yes the English Premier league.

Its a close finish to the season with Manchester United holding off Chelsea with just 3 games to play each -its a nailbiter !!

Plus the semi finals of the European championships are also about to take place with Barcelona v Manchester United and Liverpool v Chelsea ! (on ESPN)

3 British teams in the final 4 of Europe shows just how good it is in the UK now.

so for those of you who like a sport with no stop-starts, is usually over in 90 minutes

and  like to see REAL athletes,

point your TVs to the Fox Soccer Channel and Setanta sports !!

I have no idea what Im going to do in May when the season ends until the start of the new season in August !!

Yes folks big Joe Calzaghe   beat up on your boy-the big mouth  Bernard Hopkins last night in Vegas-  Hopkins from a country of 300 million vs the boy from Wales -population 2.5 million.

(Wales for those who are geographically challenged is on the west part of the UK)

Hopkins gave him a good punch in  the first, but Joe came back with the heart of a lion-landing more punches on the big mouth Hopkins than any other fighter !!

I say Well Done Wales and Congrats Joe !!

(I wonder who I was rooting for)
