I am sad to learn of the passing of Paul Newman.

This guy was a class act through and through-  when you think of real screen legends like   Gable, Bogart, robinson, Cary Grant, Hepburn etc      you will put Newman in that group.

not a "hollyweird" person , he used his money to help others, and made some memorable movies along the way.

 

Rest In Peace  Paul-you will be sadly missed.

Let's all lift a pint to Paul. He was truly a great man, demonstrated in his modesty as much as anything else. I'll miss him too. "[Butch & Sundance]" may just be my favorite movie (first one I bought - on VHS long time ago). I also liked him in "The Color of Money" with Tom Cruise.

I only wish he had a chance to star in a movie with my Favorite Leading Lady of All Time . . . that's right . . . MARGARET THATCHER!!! WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Wouldn't that have been a treat?!

(I happened to see the "American Story" series on Ronald Reagan the other evening. She's more remarkable than even I knew.)

Well, Cheers to Paul! Rest in Peace and thank you for your big heart.

I listen to anything from the Beatles,Stones,Bowie to Lil Kim to Bob Marley to Beethoven. Dont like/trust most politicians,big corporations or governments. My politics are central, sometimes middle right, sometimes middle left, but NEVER too far right/left-that can lead to problems ! I do have a religion and my relationship with god is private and personal, I dont believe in organised religion. I believe in Freedom, Democracy, life. I like family time,good friends,Music, Nature, Soccer. I am a supporter of Manchester United F.C. I appreciate the fine female form in all races ! I dont like sexism,racism, any kind of 'ism ! I want to drive an Aston Martin Vanquish but at this moment drive a car a lot less expensive !! I like flying with Microsoft flight simulator, and online gaming with Half Life. I love living here -could it be better?-sure but it could also be a lot worse. I get homesick every time the soccer season starts ! Thats all folks ! :-)
