Please! don't investigate the facts of the man she did fire, who worked at the Gov's pleasure, Its the same issue with trying to investigate Bush for firing 9 Fed. Attnys who worked at his pleasure as well.

Fact is, they are trying to keep a lid on the investigation until after the 4 November election.

If they didn't do anything wrong, why shouldn't they cooperate now?

"Politically motivated witch hunt" is a nice line to try and put the investigaters on the defense (and also to fool people who would believe anything). But another fact is they they can quickly prove whether it is a "politically motivated witch hunt" or not, simply by cooperating.

Regardless whether she fired someone for personal reasons, it’s a desperate, petty, and we all know hypocritical attempt by opposing politicians to find SOMETHING – ANYTHING to deflate her energy-filled appeal. We’re not talking about skimming funds to buy her family matching Aston Martin Vanquishes or something Shweet like that . . . "Oh yeah Babe!" Hold on, gotta gather myself. There’s no such Shweet evidence for something like this; just he said/she said. The judgment can only be subjective, short of finding something in writing/on recording by the accused, that clearly states the person was fired for that reason. If A) it’s true, and B) she was incredibly stupid enough to write/record her actual reasons (she wouldn’t be a successful politician if so stupid), and C) the Dems had that evidence, they wouldn’t have to keep perpetuating this rumor; it would be all over the media and courts. (Guess the stolen e-mails were a big clean disappointment for them.) And IF true, just think about the impossibility of proving it. Can’t read minds yet. We’ve all seen that one person at work who rubs the management the wrong way. Everyone knows why they were “laid-off” but who can prove it? So why do her opponents keep pressing this petty issue, other than that they don’t have anything of substance with which to criticize her? Of course in hopes of extending any suspicion they’ve tried to generate until Election Day. Desperation in it’s most pathetic form coming from grown-politicians. How embarrassing that children are among our leaders.

What's your daughter's game FB? It would be pretty Shweet to have a family member competing! I wish my parents would have planted the seed for me. By the time I developed aspirations for competing in the Olympics, I was too old for most sports. I hope your daughter gets there! Sucks missing out on a dream. I STILL think about what sport I could take up even at this point for the Olympics. I think I’m down to Curling and maybe Archery. This year a 40 yr. old won a Silver in swimming and a 50 yr. old won a Gold in a boating event, so there’s always hope. ==:D You just might see an archer with Thatchy hair and a 5-Oclock shadow one day up on the Medal Stand accepting the Gold! Wouldn’t that be a sight! A Close-up on me, Margaret Coif and all, during the entire Star Spangled Banner, tear in my eye!

Well, the so called "investigation" will be wrapped up by Oct. 10. They have nothing, and I will be happy when Governor Palin is exonerated.

The fact is, there is nothing to investigate. Palin's ex-brother-in-law tasered his 10 year-old step son and threatened to kill his ex-wife and his boss was ignoring it. According to police department policy he should have been fired. Palin was upset that his boss was protecting him and threatened to fire his butt if he didn't act. I think it took courage on her part to stand up to the "good old boy" system in Alaska and do the right thing even though she knew that idiot Democrats would try to say she wanted the guy fired because he was her ex-brother-in-law and ignore the truth.
