Yet another politician  up   with charges -this time falsely reporting more than $250,000 in gifts and services he received from an oil services company that helped renovate his home.

Sen. Ted Stevens, R-Alaska-- 

why do we keep putting up with these clowns?

Oh.. Even I as a stanch conservative republican am glad to see Sen. Stevens FINALLY get a dose of legal recourse land in his lap! From bridges to nowhere, to ferries to nowhere, and more! Sen. Stevens is the Republican side of the Democrats John Murtha when it comes to arrogance and earmarks.

One difference however between parties... While BOTH are filled with crooked and arrogant elites, ONLY the Republicans will hold their own accountable for their actions and run them out on a rail. Democrats circle the wagons, and protect theirs. I'm still waiting on action for Jefferson of LA and 100K of cold hard FBI marked cash for example...

Oh...just wait! I have something to add on this kind of thing just as soon as everything gets approved through FOX! There is something very interesting that I have ran across while on the internet that I think bloggers will find very interesting! You want to know just how far politicians will take things....stay toned for my next post (if approved)!

THey all have corrupt things in their lives. Like the Democrat Wexler who uses fake address for residency, to that one Democrat found with Cash in his Freezer, to Duke Cunningham who literally had a list of donors and favors... a disappointment since I knew him as a Vietnam Ace hero. Shame.

But Yes, I think I will start some sort of Congress watch and check them, their family, and their dogs history.

Senator Boxer in CA along with Pelosi in CA have real conflict of interests with Red China business through their husbands.

These Govern folks use that office as a income source. ANd even some former governt folks use their offices to get them into a lucrative private sector job... like Pentagon Generals working for Contractors when they get out of the military... ditto with State Dept, CIA.

In the last 30 years it justs gets worse. Clintons Administration was really bad, with arrests and convictions of top WHitehouse people. Some even got killed in weird circumstances.

Criminal & devious intents are growing by the minute! We need to put a stop to it and STAND together saying "We Are United and We Aren't Ging To Take It Anymore!!!", and that's that! No if, and's, or butt's!

Truthguy lets also not forget Sen Feinstein and her handing out of MILCON projects to her husband's three different companies, and when exposed, intead of any inditements, she quietly stepped down.. and that was it! Barney Franks and Chris Dodd neck deep in the loan business, Harry Reid and son's making Obama's Rizzo deal look like small potatos!! You can't drive 5 miles in West Va without seeing something in Byrd's name! Lets not forget how Toriselli aka "the torch" was screaming his innocence on the floor, but convicted! Almost a FIRST for anyone on the left!

I believe it's a power sickness, but since Republicans are more greed based, they seem to be affected more. Jefferson, a democrat from LA, is an example of a greedy democrat, but he's more of an exception than the rule.

I believe we have to monitor politicians more closely- its obvious power corrupts and that applies to both sides.

these people are just laughing in our faces , and kicking us in the rear all the time while they enjoy the lap of luxury and get fabulously wealthy.

the founding fathers must be rolling in thier graves , shaking thier heads with a look of sadness.

You can't monitor them more closely. It's a closed door system to begin with, with slush funds and payola everywhere. The lobbyists, congressional staffers and even the janitors are in on it. GOP and DNC are one in the same when it comes to morals and ethics.

They're ALL crooked as a dog's hind leg and when they die, they'll all have to be screwed into the ground.

Swarm..there are those who say that WASHINGTON is SO corrupt that an Honest Man can STARVE before he can Learn how to Steal..

We vote them IN,,Honest or NOT but it's the Corrupt SYSTEM that has to change..

Othewise..You might JUST as easilly complain that you got WET when you jumped into a pool of water..

Working class hero, lives in Orlando area,Computer Network Engineer,messing with Exchange,Domino,Win servers, SQL, Enterprise Vault,Networks etc-British by Birth,a Londoner married to my New Yorker wife. we got the package-kids,dogs, cat.house with pool etc. does it get any better ? I listen to anything from the Beatles,Stones,Bowie to Lil Kim to Bob Marley to Beethoven. Dont like/trust most politicians,big corporations or governments. My politics are central, sometimes middle right, sometimes middle left, but NEVER too far right/left-that can lead to problems ! I do have a religion and my relationship with god is private and personal, I dont believe in organised religion. I believe in Freedom, Democracy, life. I like family time,good friends,Music, Nature, Soccer. I am a supporter of Manchester United F.C. I appreciate the fine female form in all races ! I dont like sexism,racism, any kind of 'ism ! I want to drive an Aston Martin Vanquish but at this moment drive a car a lot less expensive !! I like flying with Microsoft flight simulator, and online gaming with Half Life. I love living here -could it be better?-sure but it could also be a lot worse. I get homesick every time the soccer season starts ! Thats all folks ! :-)
