Now and again when its cool I sit outside near my car at lunchtime and peruse the radio stations, I had the displeasure of listening to  (for a few minutes I couldnt take any more) the bloated,  tubby and  insipid Mr Rush Limbaugh !

there is NO middle ground on anything with this guy its all liberals fault everything from the garden of eden, to  present day the conservatives are always right, honest decent folks etc etc, and he does not come up for air while going about any Democrat or anyone that does not  subscribe to far right wing politics.

and he keeps repeating over and over about the "drive by media"  well I thought to myself what IS the drive by media ? talk radio is absolutly DOMINATED by right wing conservatives.

look at it in Central Florida   If you want news  in the morning

on 540 you got Pat Campbell -conservative

580  Jim turner- Conservative

then we have  Boortz-independant -but leaning right

then we have at 1pm   the big joke himself   Rush Limbaugh

then going home drive time we have that other Neo con-Sean Hannity on 580

and on 540 we got Bud Hedinger

followed buy Mike Gallagher

Its hard to find a talk show radio host thats central in thier politics.

So, next time you hear "Drive by Meduia"

think  Conservative !

As for me my politics are central, I like some Repub ideas,. some Dem ideas.

but in truth none of them are any good. !

of course unless your Rush or Hannity -they sleep with GWB photo under thier pillows.

Yes, we do have AM 540 and 580 to turn to for Conservative news. As a liberal, you have far more options. Why get your panties all in a bunch over us having a whole whopping two choices?

Well, at least there is conservative radio.

But it is AM, not FM. Who can get it?

Why do you seek it when almost all printed and broadcast media loves the democratic party?

Don't you get FM on your radio?

Next time you want pure liberal drivel, pick up your local paper, and peruse that instead of AM. I think you will find it more to your liking.

In fact, Rush is quite critical of the President and blames him for the current state of the party.

Where, if you looked at some of the 'genius' liberals on Air America (a sindication which couldn't exist were it not propped up by the left financtial), no Democrat has ever done anything wrong, ever, and none of them ever will.

You know, you always know what the Left is up to, because the first thing that they do is blame the Right for it.

You complain about Rush walking in lockstep - I submit to you, that that is PRECISELY what the Left does, and the driveby media with them

Rush is Republican. If the Republicans back an issue, he supports it. If the Democrats back the same issue, it is an evil action.
When George Bush invaded Iraq (Operation Desert Storm) he backed the invasion. When the attack was stopped, Bush was wise to leave Saddam in charge to keep order. Removing him would be a mistake as it would cause chaos and allow militant fundamentalist Muslims to take over. Well, he was right about that!

When Clinton took office, Rush was against the daily bombing of Iraq and said it was to cover up for his actions at home. Remember Wag the Dog?
He ranted constantly against Clinton's militant behavior of invading other countries to free them and "nation build". He said it was wrong to sacrifice our people to liberate people who weren't willing to help themselves.
Turns out he was right there, too.
Sean Hannity did the same thing.
It really depends on which party is in power at the time whether it isiright or wrong.
