"High School Musical"

It’s all the "rage" with tweens across the country: "high school musical".

 

But now toddlers are also getting in on the act. In October the third "High School Musical" movie will be released -- this one in theatres. Now, parents of young children are debating whether the popular phenom is really innocent "fun" after all.

It's just entertaining, that's all. My 7 year old daughter loves it. When we go see HSM 3, I'm sure my 3 year old will want to go. He'll be there with us for sure.

Well when I moved here almost 3 years ago and joined the PTA..I had suggested numerous times, how in Jersey all children from K - 8 grade would put on a Christmas Extravaganza and then a Spring Musical..IT WAS DONE BY THE TEACHERS INVOLVEMENT everyone had a theme and it was just great. We also printed tickets and charged 5 bucks a show PER ADULTS, CHILD EVEN THE ONES NEW BORNS..and let me tell you, we put up with many fights from the parents BUT THEY WENT TO THE SHOWS AND THE FAMILIES THE KIDS HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AND THE PARENTS WERE AMAZED AT THE TALENTS OF THEIR CHILDREN and the school MADE OUT WITH A PRETTY BUNDLED TO COVER COSTS OF TRIPS AND CLASS ACTIVIITES.....I wish they would listen to me..but THIS IS FLORIDUH...what a shame.

and the thing was it was mandatory for a grade so that the cheapie parents would not have a choice but to allow the child in the play AND LET ME TELL YOU...If I can show you the pictures and the wonderful memories that my children, and friends got from these it is truly priceless. We also had a guy VIDEO TAPE the shows...then reproduce and those were sold at 5 bucks......EXCELLENT.

O sure its fine only half the girls in it are naked on the net right now and or pregnant !...Walt must be screaming in heaven at what Disney has become!

HSM is a Disney production ...Disney has broken many of Walt's rules about what his company should be, sex/booze etc.

I glanced at it several times while it was wasting time on one of my TV's , but I was talking about the convenient news that two of the stars of HSM-2 had all of a sudden popped up on the Internet just before it was released ! Yea real “wholesome” and way to convenient ...just look at all the free promotion they got out of the news story about the underage porn pics! ...Walt would have pulled a film if one of his under age actresses was in a scandal...now illegal antics (drinking using dope sex) by underage Disney actresses is considered an form of promotion for the brand!
But I see your point you want your girls to idolize Britney and Zoe (she was knocked up at 15) and Lindsy Lohan ...great roll models ...and after the show they can look up Hudgens on the net and see more of her or how about that set of pictures that Zac had on the net in Germany , you want to explain to you small children what that boy is doing with that naked man ? ?
