Should Paris Hilton Serve Time?

She was sentenced Friday to 45 days at the Century Regional Detention Center, Los Angeles County's jailhouse for women just south of downtown in Lynwood.

Inmates there get three low-sodium meals a day, with dinner the only hot meal. Beef and pork aren't permitted _ "it's all poultry-based," said Capt. Alice Scott, who oversees the 2,200-inmate facility she describes as "a very nice place."

FOX 35 wants to know what you think.

Do you think Paris Hilton should serve her time?

I feel that Paris is finally getting a taste of the real life. you do crime you do time simple as is it. I feel her sentence was lite. She is such a bad role model for kids she should serve time for every teen she has influenced to do wrong. she is an example of what parents dont want theyre children to grow up like. 40 or so days ..she should be greatful anyone even cares what she does in life. Although it will be funny to see how long it takes her to complain about well everything she finds in jail. just wait till she gets food

I do feel kind of sorry, but it's only 45 days and nights, she can do it. She's Paris Hilton.

She was sentenced, she didn't get escorted to jail right then, her lawyer is working to get her out of the sentence. Something will probably happen and she want have to serve any time. I doubt we will see her even having any community service. And my answer is yes, I think she is not above the law. Flesh and blood like you and I, she should serve her time. Heck, she doesn't even have to go into the community. She gets to stay by herself. They are afraid she will get hurt. What about the other people who get hurt?

I would think Solitaire is hard. I don't think if she was with the other jailbirds that she would get hurt. Too many want her to be pretty and say "that's hot".

I think she will not see a day of jail time. Her lawyer will do something to keep her out. I'm sure of it. She really should just do her time and get it over with. Maybe she'll go into rehab and call it time served.

There was an online petition for her lol. She should be going to jail now instead of waiting for June to serve her time. She does do need rehab though.

Paris needs a big wake up call and I think this may just do it, she is not beyond the law and should spend time in jail. She looks down at everyone else like insects and thinks she's all that, so far above everyone. WELL HOW DOES SHE LIKE US NOW!!! Maybe we can get the answer when she gets out, unless she buys her way out and of course it has been a known fact that some with money can talk big to get what they want with judges these days!

Paris needs to get her butt behind bars. I am so sick of her (sorry for me rich witch) attitude.She was drinking and driving and than drove on a suspended license.

Sadly, this "Bimbo" is a role modle to many of our youth. Our society has enough problems with kids today,not understanding there are consiquences for our acctions.

Paris Hilton apparently hasn't learned a lesson with her license being taken away in the first place. She needs to serve her time (short as it is), like everyone else would.

I do belive that a person with money should not be treated any differently than the rest of the population.

If you commit any kind of crime you should have to serve time,I don't think she should be excluded from the general population.

If your common man and woman has to be with the general population what makes her any more special (Money).

Even though she will probably not spend one day since she does have all that money.

Money should not give anyone more power than those of us who don't have it.

She is a bad role model and our youth seems to think it is okay to break the law and get away with it,especially if you have money.

All those in the public eye should not be treated any different than the rest of this planet.

Yes she should these people need to learn that they can't do what they want and not pay for it. If that were us we wouldn't be on TV getting special treatment. Lock her up!

she needs to pay for the crime, she got off with probation at the start, but as we all know if you violate probation (and even greater when the charge was a DUI) you get jail time!!!
45 days is not bad, it could be worse.

It would not suprise me if she somehow got out of this one... money has great power in this country.
