I have done research and discovered that there was a powerful group called the Seminole Negro and they were a group of people that were Seminole and African and they formed a group. They were a intelligent bunch. You know what. Since Fox blocked this blog, I am going to do it on Wordpress. How dare they try to take away the truth about Africa and their bloodline that is with the Seminole Indians? What are they afraid of and why can't a black person have Indian in their ancestry. Is it because if more blacks found out about it, they can go to college for free as the whites have been doing for so many years. Blacks you wonder how they get ahead, many of them even though they were rapists and theives, they decided to take the Indian for one last time around the block and use thei 1/10 blood to go to school. Did you not know that there are perks for having Native American blood in you?  And many whites use it to the fullest.

I would be embarassed knowing that my people enslaved them, raped themand stole their land , and making them march for mile after mile to their deaths, and now I want to steal even more from the name and suffering. What a shameful thing? How shameful to call yourself a friend to anyone? LOl, the things people do to get ahead in America. You should be giving to them, not taking from them.

Who are the Buffalo Soldiers?

African Americans have fought in military conflicts since colonial days. However, the Buffalo Soldiers, comprised of former slaves, freemen and Black Civil War soldiers, were the first to serve during peacetime.

Once the Westward movement had begun, prominent among those blazing treacherous trails of the Wild West were the Buffalo Soldiers of the U.S. Army. These African Americans were charged with and responsible for escorting settlers, cattle herds, and railroad crews. The 9th and 10th Cavalry Regiments also conducted campaigns against American Indian tribes on a western frontier that extended from Montana in the Northwest to Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona in the Southwest. Throughout the era of the Indian Wars, approximately twenty percent of the U.S. Cavalry troopers were Black, and they fought over 177 engagements. The combat prowess, bravery, tenaciousness, and looks on the battlefield, inspired the Indians to call them "Buffalo Soldiers." Many Indians believe the name symbolized the Native American's respect for the Buffalo Soldiers' bravery and valor. Buffalo Soldiers, down through the years, have worn the name with pride.

Buffalo Soldiers participated in many other military campaigns: The Spanish American War, The Philippine Insurrection, The Mexican Expedition, World War I, World War II, and the Korean Police Action.

Much have changed since the days of the Buffalo Soldiers, including the integration of all military servicemen and women. However, the story of the Buffalo Soldiers remain one of unsurpassed courage and patriotism, and will be forever a significant part of the history of America.

African Americans have fought with distinction in all of this country's military engagements. However, some of their most notable contributions and sacrifices came during the Civil War. During that conflict, more than 180,000 African Americans wore the Union Army blue. Another 30,000 served in the Navy, and 200,000 served as workers on labor, engineering, hospital and other military support projects. More than 33,000 of these gallant soldiers gave their lives for the sake of freedom and their country.

Shortly after the Civil War, Congress authorized the formation of the 9th and 10th Cavalry and the 38th, 39th, 40th, and 41st Infantry Regiments: Six all Black peacetime units. Later the four infantry regiments were merged into the 24th and 25th Infantries.

In countless skirmishes and firefights, the troopers won the respect of the Plains warriors who named "Buffalo Soldiers." African Americans accepted the badge of honor and wore it proudly.

At least 18 Medals of Honor were presented to Buffalo Soldiers during the Western Campaigns. Similarly, 23 African Americans received the nation's highest military award during the Civil War.

Buffalo Soldiers in the Guadalupe Mountains

The casual history novice passing quickly through Guadalupe Mountains National Park learns about the role ranching played in these mountains, that the original route of the Butterfield Overland Mail Stage ran through Guadalupe Pass for a brief time, and that this was the last Apache stronghold in Texas. But skirmishes between Mescalero Apache and Black troopers is less common knowledge. Yet hikers along the Foothills Trail walk through an area which was once the sight of a large cavalry encampment. To the untrained eye, there is no obvious evidence of the camp, but the close proximity to lower Pine Springs made it a valuable site to the military. An old rifle pit was discovered near this site. Another camp location at Manzanita Spring was briefly referred to as "Camp Safford" for Lt. Safford who died there of acute dysentery.


Despite some pleasant asides, military patrols in and around the Guadalupe Mountains were long and arduous, food was limited in variety, sometimes quantity, and almost always palatability - and water was scarce! In fact, many of the patrols made by the Buffalo Soldiers were essentially mapping expeditions for viable water sources and to record significant geographic features. This information would later prove to be useful in the fight against the elusive Warm Springs Apache Chief, Victorio.

Victorio's last skirmish with Colonel Grierson and the 10th Cavalry occurred in August 1880, only 40 miles south of the Guadalupes in the Sierra Diablo Mountains, at a place called Rattlesnake Springs.

Desperate for water, the Apache Chief made two attacks on the cavalry before being repelled. Grierson had cleverly cut the Apaches off from this critical resource; outguessing and beating Victorio's band to the springs in a marathon 65 mile ride through the harshest of country within 21 hours on horseback and wagons. Victorio was forced to retreat into Mexico, where he and his band were later killed by Mexican troops. Their demise was in and of itself a sad passage in the history of people indigenous to this country.

Little has been specifically written about the skirmishes between the Apache and the Buffalo Soldiers in the Guadalupe Mountains, but their spirits ride on the wind, patiently awaiting the long overdue recognition that they deserve in the annals of American history.

A Tribute

In February each year, Guadalupe Mountains National Park honors the brave men of the 9th and 10th Cavalry Regiments by displaying artwork depicting the Buffalo Soldiers in the auditorium of the Headquarters Visitor Center. In July, 1997, Texas Parks & Wildlife employees put on a living history demonstration of the Buffalo Soldiers at Frijole Ranch, near the old military camp site. I have posed this question before and asked whether or not people could actually apologize for something that they felt they had nothing to do with? So far the answer is no. Nonone is sorry for anything that they have done for any pain or malice that they caused anyone anymore, so therefore get over it.

However that is not true. I will say it for you. I Ericka am sorry for everything that has happened in this country that affected the lives of innocent people. The Jews did not deserve what happened, Neither did the Native Americans, they are good people, neither did the Zoots, they were a good bunch of hard working immigrants that wanted a better life here in America. The Asian countries that have been done wrong, which cause them to bomb Pearl Harbour. You know it's like Muhammed Ali stated. I am not going to fight a people that have done nothing to me. He stated that America was his opposer, not the Vietcon. Wow, could not have said it better myself. He was right. Who wants to fight for a country that made it lawful for your people to be hanged? Made it lawful for you to be enslaved and all the perks that come along with that job? Africa, you did not deserve to be brought over here and treated the way you were. It is not that you were slaves, it was how you were treated as slaves and the many massacres that followed once your freedom became a reality.

See for me that is all it takes, even if you did not do it, Show some respect for another race and understand. Don't bring up what you have gone through as a way to win an argument, be selfless and see what they feel. There are times when I felt that the Jews had it harder than Africans, but it is still hard to see the concentration camps. I cannot watch them with crying and neither can my children. I teach them about all races and how they suffered. Many have "moved on' and that is their right, however their move is merely tolerating America, that is not my stance. I won't tolerate anything. I want real change. For those of you that decided not to apologize, my heartfelt apologies are in order for your family and ancestors that struggled to become a part of this great country that we call America. Much blood was shed by the past and this is just a way to talk about it. This project will be completed tonight and then we will show a struggle from another people. Let's see if there will be apologies for them as well and then we will continue on until it is finished.

One more thing, was it hard to look at those pictures? I bet it was and that is why you attacked the way you did. I don't write for nothing, there is always a point to my writing and if you could open your eyes, you just might get something out of it. I don't hide my feelings and yes there is true anger and disgust for the whites in these photos. That is not fake. You read my tone, juh, you damn well better believe that I am pissed. My people are hanging from trees with whites watching them. Now how should I treat the first white person that I come into contact with today. I will probably smile at them, or I may still be angry, but if they reach out to me, I will definitely receive them.

You wanted to kill Americas president elect Obama. Wow, where did you get the idea of this racism. Let's see, you are 21, and therefore your parents would be about 40-45 perhaps? That is a lot of white people at that age, and where would someone so young get the racism from. I know, it was passed down to him. He inherited it from his family members. WASHINGTON - Law enforcement agents have broken up a plot by two neo-Nazi skinheads to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate 88 black people, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said Monday.

In court records unsealed Monday in U.S. District Court in Jackson, Tenn., federal agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target a predominantly African-American high school in a murder spree that was to begin in Tennessee. Agents said the skinheads did not identify the school by name.

Jim Cavanaugh, special agent in charge of ATF’s Nashville field office, said the two men planned to kill 88 African Americans, including 14 by beheading. The numbers 88 and 14 are symbolic in the white supremacist community

Now this is 2008 and now we have what?!? Now this is why I write. I get people writing me all the time saying, Ericka, why don't you just "get over it" I say, get over this guys photo. Because he wanted to kill My president Barack Obama and it was less than a month ago. What? Who are you telling to get over it? Like I said, in 1920 women had sex and gave birth to children and then they had children and their children produces the photo that you see above with the story to follow it. I know that I am good for doing what I am doing and it's as simple as that. You can write about what you want and you can take pictures and show yourself ignorant by telling me to "move on" I find it hard to do, when you still have this guy in the neighborhood. Now you step back and look at if from my shoes.

Where are the blacks that should be standing up? They are afraid of being lynched and murdered. Of course not, they are just tired of fighting. The same way the Native Americans got tired of fighting against the whites. For their own land. LOL , this is sad. Yet, we blacks are known as the rogues? lol how hilarious? Let the photos speak for themselves. Maybe I will write a blog about what happened to Native Americans in America, so we can see the faces that oppressed them too. I think I will. Young people need to be educated and well, that is what we should do. We should teach the children the truth. Or maybe they already know. That's why Obama won, so many young white children in college voting for him. See, he could not win with the black vote, we needed white people to love him and they do. They shed tears when he enters the room. Want to see a picture of it, alright you asked. I will submit some, but only because you asked so nicely. Listen. I don't want a fight today. I am worn out from yesterday and dealing with so much ignorance is hard for me.

Now, as you may know, I don't like racism. I was troubled this moring by a blog that I went to that felt the need to go out on a limb and say that blacks commit more murder against whites than they do for us. My question is, which lifetime are you referring to?

Now I have spent a small amount of time and effort listing some of the many murders that were committed by whites in ummm .. America. The place that blacks should be "grateful" to live in. LOL you crack me up with that one. I like to bring out the best in people, but sometimes the truth brings out the worst. This shouldn't take much time to resonate with you folks, as I can see that you understand what is happening with me. Correct. Now, i am not a person who is happy about having her sisters and their evils broadcast, so therefore, it is necessary that I go back into the archives and bring up some necessary stories, you know, just as a refresher. Just to let you know that, you were wrong. I would hate to be white and have this hanging over my head. I would hold a lot of guilt. Even if my heart was clear. Still, it would hurt me to see the faces of my people and to think of the murders that they caused in America, just to make it theres. They killed Native Americans and stole their land, they stole diamonds from the Africans and enslaved them and used up all of their natural resources, while utilizing the rebels as a scapegoat for their success. That way, anyone innocent watching, would say, hey look, the African rebel is beating his own people. Well  I tell you this, in a country that is so poverty stricken, you'd be amazed what you can get people to do if you offer the right price. The American dollar is very persuasive.

There is a reason for my writing about racism in America. And as I looked on the blog of this person who purposefully named everyblog that he wrote in and address to me. Example: "Ericka, I hope that Obama will stop the black on white crime!"  I am that important? Little ole me. I'm just a little lady, don't be intimidated by me at all. What kind of harm could I do? I guess we see the harm I shall do right? Shall I continue? Or would you like me to stop?

Look at what you can get people to do in America and we aren't poverty stricken at all.

This is a famous picture, taken in 1930, showing tho young black men accused of raping a white girl, hanged by a mob of 10,000 white men. The mob took them by force from the county jailhouse. Another black man was saved from lynching by the girl’s uncle who said he was innocent.   You wonder what our culture was like before America? I will say this. I read a blog today that states that blacks are much more likely to kill a white in America than blacks are to kill their own. Well my response is…We came from Africa and learned your culture. Therefore, we learned from the best, we learned from you. You taught us everything we know. We had no knowledge, we did not know how to speak, we had no language of our own, since coming here, we were prohibited from speaking. Our profanity, our rape, our drug use, our abandoning our own, everything we learned that is evil came from you. Look at your faces. Are you proud? As you stare at my people who hang in front of you as game, are you jolly? Does this constitute your happiness? Is this how we should see you today? Yes it is, until you show us different. Prove to us you can be different.

Now let me tell you folks a little story. There was this man who worked for this company. He had no benefits, no holiday pay, no overtime pay. Although he worked much overtime. He only received straight pay.

Well he worked for a man who was a pretty good boss and one day the boss called him into the office and asked him to have a seat. Now when this boss called him inside, he was not surprised, since they had sat together a few times in the past. However this time would be different. The boss asked the man. How much do you make? “Well sir, I make 6.50 an hour. ” The young man looked at his boss. “What?” “Yes, sir, I make 6.50 an hour.” The young employee repeated. “Well, do you have any kids?” The young man looked at his employer and said, “Uh, yes sir, I have a step son, and my girlfriend is pregnant.” “Oh really, well congradulations” “Thank you sir”, the young man replied. “So, how do you like working for this company?” asked the boss. “Actually I really like it, I’ve been here for 2 years.” “Really, have you?” the boss said, he seemed surprised. “Yeah, I started 2 years ago on March 14.” “Oh, I see”, said the boss.” “Well, excuse me for asking, said the boss, “but how do you make it on that?” The young man blushed shyly and bent his head forward. “I do what I can, it’s hard sometimes, but we try to make it work.” “I see”, said the boss. “How do you get to work?” “I ride the bus, or I walk if I can, depending on the weather.” “Oh, I see.” “Yeah, but the other night, when I got off I missed the bus, so I just walked home, it was nice out though.” “How far do you live from here?” “I live about 20 minutes away from here,” the young man answered. ”Damn, that’s pretty far”, said the boss. “yeah, but hey, you do what you gotta do, you know?” “Yes I guess I do. ” So the boss excused him from the office and begin to think about how he first got started in his company. He began to think about how little he was paid and how he and his young wife and their two small children slept in a one bedroom apartment, and how he drove that beat up dust bucket to work. He went home that night and when he came in the next morning he called that young man in his office. “yes sir, the young man said.” “Have a seat, sir”, said the boss. “I need to talk to you.” The young man began to become nervous and began to become fidgety with his hands and he truly thought that he would get fired. “Young man, I went and spoke with the accountant department today, and they have informed me that you are due for a raise.  The young man began to smile and he looked happy all of a sudden. ”O.k.” said the young employee. “We want to give you a $3.00 raise.” The young employee could not imagine what was happening, but he was happy with what he had heard. “Wow, sir, I…I…don’t know what to say.” The boss looked at him, and said, “Young man, You shouldn’t have to say any more than what you have already said through your work. Now it is time for me to start talking.”  ”Yes sir”, said the employee. “You have been working faithfully for my company for over 2 years and have not gotten one raise yet.” “well sir,” the young employee interrupted. “No, now listen to me” said the boss. “We owe you.” “Now I have been hearing how you ride a bike to get here sometimes, you walk to get here sometimes, you have caught a bus to get here, and you have chased many buses to get to my company, all so that you can support my dream.” The young man was shocked by what he was hearing. “well sir, I like…” “not another word son,” ordered the boss. “we will make sure that you get holiday pay for 6 days, and we will give you 5 sick pay days. Also when your girlfriend has the child, you may take a week off to help her, with pay.” The young man started crying immediately and he couldn’t control his tears. His boss sat back in his chair, astonished by what his eyes beheld. He had no idea that this small package was that much for this man. See he didn’t realize that he would be able to get more diapers. Afford some new clothes for the baby. Pay the fee for the bus. Get his bike fixed. He didn’t know that this would enable this young man to save 50 dollars to get a car in the future. Since this young man had plans. He would never have known the potential of his employee if he hadn’t asked. This manager did not know that the stepson to this young man, had no father and that he had stepped in to help. He had no idea that the woman had just left an abusive relationship and was in desperate need of help, and that his employee had stepped in. He didn’t realize just how much his employee really valued his job, and that he had done everything to get there. Even walk in the rain. This young man deserved everything he was given and then some. The end……….

Now, if you find yourself as a manager or a boss and you don’t look into the lives of your employees, then you are a shrewd manager and should not have a business. In fact, you suck. You have been entrusted with something and you show no appreciation for your people that work diligently for you. How dare you call yourself an owner, you are truly the “Shrewd Manager” This business is your dream, not theirs and they come along to help you in your vision. If you succeed and it’s because of them, then you owe them. If you don’t succeed then it’s your fault. You should have paid attention to how you treated your employees.

For the record, this is the type of stuff that I write about on wordpress, it is what keeps me famous and keeps people coming to my blogs. This just a taste.

Our president Barack Obama is planning to to raise our minimum wages up to 9.50 an hour by 2011. I believe him. He is a man that understand that this world is crumbling and the greedy employers are cheating their employees. Barack Obama is also requiring employers to give their employees more sick pay days. Wow!!!!!!!!! It would alleviate that pesky rodent called, accrued PTO. A sorry excuse for benefits. What a sick policy? How can we allow these companies to do this? I know what that feels like, waiting on time to accrue in order to have a sick day. I understand Mandatory overtime and after you’ve stayed 5 extra hours on Wednesday, they let you off 5 hours early on Friday. How rude?  To avoid paying you the overtime. What a sick practice?

When I was a single mom, I remember being told by a manager that they did not like to hire women with kids, since the kids always had a problem and made the parent have to leave work. The employers are ruthless when you are a single parent. I know it. I can totally understand the woman that left her child at home while she went to work. Hell I was fired once from a job to tend to my sick 4 year old. I will never forget that experience. It was painful. They cared more about their production than my needs at home. And guess what?  I had actually finished working my shift and the relief never showed up. I was told either you stay at work until someone shows up to relieve you, or you’re fired. I plead my case and informed them that my son had been sick all day, yet I still came in and they said, you know the rules. I was fired. Barack would not stand for this sort of action from any company. That’s why a lot of the conservative white and black business owners don’t want him in the office. Barack Obama is a lot like me, he is a leo,  and I am called the enforcer. I literally hate, detest, loathe injustice. I can’t stand to see any injustice on my watch. I will attack anyone on any position and will challenge them to the fullest. If I could go to every black politician in Florida, I would. Barack Obama raising minimum wage is wonderful and it will cause those Americans that make 10.00 an hour realize that they are being stiffed. Do the math. A person making 10.00 an hour will bring home around 340.00 a week after taxes. Which equals about $1,360 a month. Which actually equates with 8.00 an hour.

Rent/mortgage if you want to live decently would be about 1,000 a month in Florida, every now and then you can find something for about 950.00. that could be a 3 bedroom 2 bath, but most likely it’s around $1,100. Truly. Now in the hood you can get a 3 bedroom 2 bath for around $650.00-$750.00 a month. Then you have utilities, and who really wants to live in the hood? Not me? Although I had for a long time. You sacrifice with the pay scale for sure. If a person could make more, then they could live better. So now think about it. If you pay more on only 1,350 dollars for making only 10.00 an hour which a lot of companies stick you with, how will you live or eat. God forbid don’t have any kids. Daycare, insurance, prescriptions, personals, savings, entertainment, phone, internet, car payment, insurance, so many more not on the list. If you pay a person 10.00 an hour that’s not enough without a good healthcare plan that’s affordable. Instead of these 5,000 dollar deposits, which is what I call them. It is not funny. We live horribly in America and it’s sad.

Now let me tell you, I in no way mean to ever imply that Americans live worse than the foreign countries that we hear about. But what I am saying, by being the richest country, we should not have people sleeping on the streets, nor should we have middle class families in homeless shelters. Barack Obama will take care of this. His plan says he will make employers offer affordable healthcare plans. Some people making 10.00 an hour have insurance premiums of 35.00 a week and that’s just for the individual which is 140.00 a month. A person with a family cannot afford this even with a wife that works. And if they can, well  a family of two working parents may have it easier, but they will get their extra income eaten up by daycare expenses and healthcare costs and unexpected things like child sickness or a parent getting sick and not to mention the rising price of gas. Am I right, they don’t even have enough to pay themselves any savings. They are living paycheck to paycheck, and that is not a good way to live. But even if you had to, which most of us do, even having at least 25.00 a month that you can save per person or 50.00 a month for a family where two parents work, it could work.  Barack is going to change this, if we allow him to. And guess what, I can tell he’d be honored. I’d be honored to do it for America. Anytime.

I wanted to add one more thing to this topic. If the companies would lower what they actually pay their lazy ass executives, which most of them don’t have any more education than the regular employee, how in the hell are they making 150,000 dollars, yet the hardworking employee makes 23,000 annually? Cut that executive down twenty percent, then you can afford to pay more to the employees who actually work. Damn Lazy executives, with their long lunches and company expenses, they ruin the work ethic for America. To Mark, who makes 16.00 an hour, you deserve better than that. What more education does your boss, or the executives have over you, just time? Please that gets old. We need more money coming from our companies and they know it. Damn losers. They spend all this money on impressive company parties, but won’t give a raise all year round. Who needs another chicken dinner, I want to see more money on my paycheck every week, even if it’s 50 cents an hour extra. Give me more damn money.

 

it was said that Obama moved the flag from his jet and that he was unpatriotic. Yet where is Mccains Patriotism? He’s next.

Now here we go, people said that Senator Obama doesn’t want to support the American Flag, well hell, the way people treat blacks in this country, why the hell would any black wear a flag pin? I don’t and I don’t own any. Why would I place a pin on my body for a country that has given me their ass to kiss? What am I insane? You treat me right, then I’ll wear your pin. You call me BLEEP, then I don’t. It’s that simple.

If we had a president that cared about black and their needs and gave us what was promised during the restitution period, then maybe I’d be more patriotic. The one thing that I don’t agree with that Rev Wright said was “God Damn America!” That was dead wrong. You never say stuff like that. No matter how angry you are. Some of the other stuff, well I don’t remember everything, but a part of me feels like the chickens have come home to roost. Especially when it comes to the economy. I’m not that sad when I see white people struggling, since we’ve struggled all our lives. I’ve been homeless, literally, I’ve lost my house before, I’ve lived in a homeless shelter, don’t let me tell you all I’ve been through, and now they finally get to see how we do it. I say good for them. I feel bad for the innocent children, but when I was homeless, my children were too, so…..hey. Latinos that think they are white, this Asian chick chaining herself to her house, at one time, I bet she tooted her nose up at a black man or woman. You figure it out. It’s not affecting us lower class or middle class blacks, since they weren’t giving us the credit anyway, but now it’s kicking their ass. I will tell you, a lot of black people are saying “finally they see how we feel”. It’s true. I can’t attack everything that Rev. Wright said, but I know that some of the same views that he has are the same views that John Hagee and Rod Parsley had. And both of them were close associates of John Mccains just before he got the nomination. Trust me, I have been around, I know what I’m talking about. Don’t trust me, then fine, go and study for yourself. You’ll come back and say that damn Ericka got me again.

Barack Obama is proud of the country that is proud of him, that’s the way I feel. If you are proud of me, then I am proud of you. What more can you ask for? This is what the Times wrote at the time, though: “At Khalidi’s 2003 farewell party, for example, a young Palestinian American recited a poem accusing the Israeli government of terrorism in its treatment of Palestinians and sharply criticizing U.S. support of Israel. If Palestinians cannot secure their own land, she said, ‘then you will never see a day of peace.’ One speaker likened ‘Zionist settlers on the West Bank’ to Osama bin Laden, saying both had been ‘blinded by ideology.’”

What’s wrong with a man that has diversity in friends? Are they angry that they aren’t able to turn every white person against Obama? Yep.
