Enjoy life to the fullest.
This photo of me is for my fox fans. I truly enjoy my life and enjoy the time that I spend with my husband and family. This was a great day and we had a blast. I can't wait for summer to come again. As I live at the park and love to go swimming.
Thanks Fox fans that ready my blogs and have shown interest in my writing. I truly do it for you. Honesty is the best policy and if you can't be honest with yourself, then who can you be honest with.
I have created a system, an that system is dedicated to maintaining my self respect and dignity. I uphold my self to a higher standard and don't settle for the status quo. It is a good thing if a woman can recognize her beauty, but even more so that she realize that it won't always be with her. At least perhaps not out beauty. That is why I have committed my life to serving others and doing away with the foolishness of competition. I expect lot from other people and find myself disappointed when they don't deliver. People can be better if they try, however most people have no problem staying as they are. I say that is fine with me, just don't rain on my parade.
Thanks again to the readers on Fox.
Now listen, I don't mind you disagreeing with me, that is fine. But I will not stand to have my writing ability attacked and my person attacked. This is uncalled for. I have not went on any of your blogs and commented about you personally. This is totally rude and disrespecttul. You need to take a break and think about your actions.
I did not come on Fox to be disrespected and told that I am not a good writer. I write about what I like and you have a choice to read it or not. You want to make comments about me, make me famous and blog about my writing, you can call it Ericka Courtney sucks, or whatever you like. Now I have had enough abuse for one day. You folks are mean and surly and coldhearted. I will continue to place blogs on this site, but you won't be heard by me anymore until you can grow up and act like adults. You can create a blog and talk about all you like and then have a forum to discuss my topics, but you are over the top now. You have overextended your welcome.
So listen. I have serious readers that truly want to hear what I have to say and I get comments all the time, but on Fox the comments are always negative. I realize that this is Florida and that is fine with me. You will see these blogs whether you like them or not. And if you don't like them, then don't click on them, you know my style of writing. You have a choice.
I understand that Fox is different and that is why I am concentrating so much here. Meaning most of you are racist pigs. There is not a lot of common sense here. Sad. You guys really don't deserve to read my stuff, and I have other sites that do, however since I am so nice, I wanted to share with you.
It seems like everytime I get personal with you, on what you consider your site, your readers reject me, so therefore, I will only send you stuff that makes you angry. I have stories that could make you smile, but as long as you see that black woman over there in the corner, you will have a problem. No matter what I write. If I write about a sunny day, then you will say, you're black, what about the sun do you like? You think the sun shines better on you don't you? You people won't give a black person credit for anything they do, unless it is making a fool of themselves. Look at this chick Candyaquino, following me around like a puppy dog barking and complaining about everything I write. She even complained about the picture of me in the pool, accusing me of trying to get a man on Fox. No personality whatsoever, I would hate to be the man that looked at her. Who would sleep with a woman as cold as a slab of concrete? I like myself better. None of that here. I am who I am and really don't care about the opinions of others, unless I ask.
How tacky is that? I think that out of all of the blogs that I have written on Fox, only 2-3 people have been cordial. On that note, I have had enough of this site for a while. Your comments are too ignorant and close minded.
Hey people, stop sending me these dumb letters that tell me that you don't want to be calling Obama black. I have one question for you. If you saw him commit a crime how would you describe him? Oh that is what I thought. You would say that tall thin black guy. You sure would so don't lie.
However, when you come on my blog, you send me these letters that say, why is it that you are calling Obama black? Well if he looks black then that is what people call him. What does George Lopez look like? What does Andy Garcia look like? What do I look like? What does Rutger Hauer look like and Clint Eastwood, and Val Kilmer? All of them are what they look like.
Another thing? Why does every other race get to be something other than what they are? But blacks must stay black? You do know that we come from France, does that make us French? What about a black man from Canada, is he Canadian? What about a black man from Australia, is he allowed to be Australian? What about a black man from Gerrmany, can he be German? I would like to know why white people are always giving the location of their place of birth as what they are? That is dumb. The Australian Aborrignes were native to the land of Australia before the whites came along, but now, they are Aussie" LOL, have to be different huh? Can blacks be Aussie", and with an accent too? How does Australia have an accent? Their accent came from the native land of European countries. However they made up a freaking language to seperate themselves. What the heck is that? Why do you have to be different? I am tired of race.
I am so fed up with this barrier that keeps us seperated, the languages and the looks. Why can't I be English if I am from England and black. So if someone asks me what I am, i will say, English. Is that on the application? Yeah it is, for the language choice, not for the race choice. Right, so why do you get to be English or Jewish, or Russian, heck am I even African, or is that just the continent where my people are from? That makes sense. I guess. Look, I asked one man what his race was and he told me, he was German with a liitle bit of Irish, and a part Italian, with a dash of European. Look, i just want to know one thing, what is your skin color? Are you white skinned or dark skinned? I don't need to know about that crap. White, black, Hispanic, or Asian, Pacific islander. Those are the dang choices, and nobody better tell me anything else. I mean it. If I can't be anything other than black, then you are stuck with white or whatever you are.
"When you're the governor, you leave your household hat at home and you become governor," said state Senate President Lyda Green, a Republican who has frequently clashed with Palin.
This comment came after Palin was found guilty of being an idiot. So here's the story.
ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Sarah Palin unlawfully abused her power as governor by trying to have her former brother-in-law fired as a state trooper, the chief investigator of an Alaska legislative panel concluded Friday. The politically charged inquiry imperiled her reputation as a reformer on John McCain's Republican ticket.
Investigator Stephen Branchflower, in a report by a bipartisan panel that investigated the matter, found Palin in violation of a state ethics law that prohibits public officials from using their office for personal gain.
The inquiry looked into her dismissal of Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan, who said he lost his job because he resisted pressure to fire a state trooper involved in a bitter divorce with the governor's sister. Palin says Monegan was fired as part of a legitimate budget dispute.
The panel found that Palin let the family grudge influence her decision-making even if it was not the sole reason Monegan was dismissed. "I feel vindicated," Monegan said. "It sounds like they've validated my belief and opinions. And that tells me I'm not totally out in left field."
Branchflower said Palin violated a statute of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act.
Palin and McCain's supporters had hoped the inquiry's finding would be delayed until after the presidential election to spare her any embarrassment and to put aside an enduring distraction as she campaigns as McCain's running mate in an uphill contest against Democrat Barack Obama.
But the panel of lawmakers voted to release the report, although not without dissension.
"I think there are some problems in this report," said Republican state Sen. Gary Stevens, a member of the panel. "I would encourage people to be very cautious, to look at this with a jaundiced eye."
The nearly 300-page report does not recommend sanctions or a criminal investigation. To see the rest of the story go to www.msnbc.com
I appreciate this story.
Obama is refreshing to see and his speeches are neat and straight forward. I believe that some of the best Presidents used written speeches to convey their messages. Not a problem for Americans that care about the real issues. Although some people can only talk about the negative things. I'm all about the issues when it comes to the presidency and their actual ability to do their job.
Obama is always being scrutinized for his ability to use a teleprompter, and as you can see in last nights debate or should I say part II even the moderator depended on his. Not a bad idea when you have so much ground to cover. Obama is a very intelligent man to say the least and It will be an honor to have him as president. We are very gracious to have him aboard and hopefully we can lay to rest some of the jargon that's been happening in this country. He is a breath of fresh air.
My overall question about this rejection by Obama is, who would stand to gain anything if the plan to buy out the mortgages is approved? Can't we see that no recovery will be given to the men, women, and children that have been foreclosed on? So if it won't help the original investor, meaning the original owner and the lending institution, then perhaps it's not a well thought out plan. I guess we'll see. With the 700,000 billion dollar bailout, does mainstreet stand to gain anything as far as the housing crisis is concerned?
A story about Iraqi cities that discriminate against Christians. How much trouble would that cause for America?
What a discomforting story. As I read the story, I thought about the labeling system. Tonight I received a comment on my blog about a label that I placed on an African American woman for her skin color. Calling her an intelligent black woman in other words. It was funny to hear that since, there is really no way to decipher people.I mean, you hear on the news all the time about a black man did this and a white man did that. A spanish man did this and that. Now obviously making a comment regarding skin tone in a derogatory fashion isn't good.
Getting over that comment, to bigger issues. In these cities they actually have to place their religion on their identification cards. What a horrible thing? My name, my face and my religion. It's almost the worst kind of discrimination possible. Blacks all over think about how they have no ability to hide their skin tone and the religion is the one thing in America that you don't have to disclose. You have Latinos that can pass for white, you have mixed black and white that can pass for Latino. But imagine having to identify your religion and then seeing an influx of murders taking place in your town because you are a minority. I can relate to that, although never having gone through it, must've been pretty overwhelming. Seeing the remnants is bad enough for me. There is a reported 800,000 christians there, and yet 26 million residents. Christianity is the minority. Many of the Iraqi people come to America and find that it's just as much discrimination here.
We just have laws that govern and protect the racists from acting out their wishes on their prey. Thank goodness for justice. Hopefully something can be done to stop these killings.
Wow!!!!! what a story? A woman actually poured scolding water on her husbands groin. Yikes, that had to hurt like Heck. What in Gods green earth is going on with this household?
Hopefully this makes men think about their actions. O.k., I'm not saying that he did something to deserve this. He probably didn't. But either way, men you better watch out. While you are out there cheating and doing the unmentionable and the unthinkable, you never know what that woman is planning at home. I remember Lorraina Bobbit, and how funny that was to a lot of us. Her husband was a very attractive man, and most women couldn't understand why she would have done that. I also heard a story, and no I won't tell my source, but it was someone very very very close to me, and they told me about a woman that got so angry at their husband and his cheating ways and actually super glued his, part to his twins and then she glued his hands to that. The woman reported that when he woke up, he could not move his hands in either direction and just lost it. I can bet she had to change the sheets that day. Why does this kind of stuff only happen to men.
I think women are tired of being put through the ringer and have just about had it. I think we can tell how women really feel when you see so many women fighting for a female president. A lot of women feel they can do bad all by themselves. My advice to the woman is never drink and boil. LOL, hey it was funny to me.
This topic was not a choice that I would normally write about. However listening to another story about Casey Anthony and her home being under surveillance for an indefinite amount of time is shocking. To say the least I totally disagree with the cameras being placed at their property, and most taxpayers would be interested in knowing who will foot this bill.
It is also frustrating to me to see how the public views this case and then to see this action taken by law enforcement,it's like a conflict of interest. Unless there is some other underlying reason for these cameras. But just the thought that it is for the safety of the Anthony family makes my stomach turn. Seriously. Many people do feel that the Anthony family need protection from protestors such as myself, but I don't. I say, you make your bed, you lay in it. Although I agree that no family under normal circumstances deserves to be harrassed, but this situation is anything but normal.
I think of Nicole Ganguzza, the beautiful woman that was murdered at a park in east Orange county, yet noone saw anything conclusive. We have no cameras where we truly need them. It is a disappointment to see how cameras can be placed on the premise of the guilty, and that statement is made based on evidence, yet the innocent seem to be punished. We have a system called Big Brother, yet we don't know where Caylees body rests. She deserved better than that. Another question is, who will be monitoring the camera at the Anthony home? The story reported is that, they would like to ensure a timely response should anything arise. More taxpayer money. Can our streets be patrolled more by police officers, and can our streets receive more cameras? Don't tell me it can't be done. That is not true and the state of Florida can place it in our budget. Our elected official receive a hefty pay, but it's amazing how sad the economy is, even in Florida. I am ashamed to be a resident here when there is an obvious mismanagement of funds. Orange county is suffering from too many murders that end up as cold cases. How much more of this is the public supposed to take. At times in the past, it seemed that they were personal attacks, but it's not the case anymore.
Each county has a responsibility to their residents, and as we see, there will many more businesses that will be facing lawsuits for not keeping their employees sate, and also for not keeping their customers safe. When I shop, I want to feel safe. Yet, I have not been to a Walgreens in a long time. I live in Seminole County, and I am not going there unless I must.
Maybe consider placing some cameras on the lights posts, in not so good neighborhoods, to find the true criminals that get away with murder. Can we place monitors on major highways, and place them in every community or at least have home associations be mandated to do so? Too much crime, not enough intervention. I know that there is minor progress, but even that progress is a day late. We need more security.
The Price of Gas

The price of gas is rising in some locations, yet in many cities in Orlando Florida, they continue to decline. Why are some companies able to charge one price, often being considerably higher? The other day as I drove down 17-92 in Seminole County, there was a gas station with the price of 3.24 a gallon. Meanwhile at 7-eleven just 2 blocks away was sporting a 3.59 gallon price.
As you can imagine, the cheaper priced station was backed up into the streets.
Also, what is the regulation for this sort of thing? The complaints come in after every approaching storm or just after a storm surge that the prices are being elevated to meet the economies needs as well as any delay that may derive from the oil plants. However, there is no storm approaching, yet some stations boast a friendly price for their consumers.
