Sarah found guilty of abuse of power, just like we thought.

"When you're the governor, you leave your household hat at home and you become governor," said state Senate President Lyda Green, a Republican who has frequently clashed with Palin.

This comment came after Palin was found guilty of being an idiot. So here's the story.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Sarah Palin unlawfully abused her power as governor by trying to have her former brother-in-law fired as a state trooper, the chief investigator of an Alaska legislative panel concluded Friday. The politically charged inquiry imperiled her reputation as a reformer on John McCain's Republican ticket.

Investigator Stephen Branchflower, in a report by a bipartisan panel that investigated the matter, found Palin in violation of a state ethics law that prohibits public officials from using their office for personal gain.

The inquiry looked into her dismissal of Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan, who said he lost his job because he resisted pressure to fire a state trooper involved in a bitter divorce with the governor's sister. Palin says Monegan was fired as part of a legitimate budget dispute.
The panel found that Palin let the family grudge influence her decision-making even if it was not the sole reason Monegan was dismissed. "I feel vindicated," Monegan said. "It sounds like they've validated my belief and opinions. And that tells me I'm not totally out in left field."

Branchflower said Palin violated a statute of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act.

Palin and McCain's supporters had hoped the inquiry's finding would be delayed until after the presidential election to spare her any embarrassment and to put aside an enduring distraction as she campaigns as McCain's running mate in an uphill contest against Democrat Barack Obama.

But the panel of lawmakers voted to release the report, although not without dissension.

"I think there are some problems in this report," said Republican state Sen. Gary Stevens, a member of the panel. "I would encourage people to be very cautious, to look at this with a jaundiced eye."

How could anyone possibly believe that "Sister Sarah" could be so pushy and vicious? LOL

A violation of Ethics?.....So what? LOL

What can we find to use for a counter attack on Biden or Obama? We already used the "he's a Muslim" and McCain denied it, so maybe we should try the Ayers thing or maybe pull out his former pastor again. LOL

LOL! Oh so a "Panel" has decided that she abused her power.. Yet now that same panel however does not wish to recomend any accountability outside of their own findings? Why? Mabye because we would have to ask why it took all these years to suddenly want to investigate? Wasn't a problem until the election?

If she indeed upon inspection of the evidence had abused her authority, then IMPEACH her NOW! Bring your evidence to independent counsel and the DA and indite her!

This "panel" does not recomend an investigation because then they would have to defend their findings! We would actually go into the political background of the members of the "panel!"

What a bunch of lame hacks! If I was Palin, I would DEMAND investigation then, and lets see that evidence! Watch the response we get from the Gov.'s office... I bet she slams these folks!

SARAH PALIN was found GUILTY by the Alaskan legislature's
by-partisen committy (of 10 republicans and 4 democrats),
of abusing her power as governor of Alaska by terminating
Water Monegan (Alaska's public safety commissioner) for
refusing to fire Sarah Palin's ex-brother-in-law.

When the investigation began, Sarah said she would cooperate
but, after entering into the politican campaign, that changed.
McCain's campaign tried to squash many supeanas from going out.

Palin committed an ethical violation by using her husband, Todd,
to speak to over 16 state employees regarding her former brother
in-law (a state trooper) in her attempt to get him fired. She then
lied to the people of Alaska when asked about the situation.

I like to know why the good democrats continue fought the ILLEGAL firing of the Travel staff (Travelgate) by the then first hooker clinton to the point of wasting MY DOLLARS to get a court junction BARRING further investigation. To the person who called my novel, a oxymoron title, Go out and buy it and then tell everyone how the book stinks and drive up my ratings even more. You see the more opposition you give me, I become the winner. It's the same thing for Barack Obama, with all of the scandal and division, and the racial attacks, and lies, and drama, he is still winning. He is still ahead in Florida. You are not making a negative impact, it is positive. Thank you

"The Gentle Rapist", yes I knew it would offend some people when I wrote it, and it's successful to say the least. See the book wasn't written for you, It was written for people who have a heart. Women and men alike and many people actually like the book if you can believe it. It is a good book and that's all I care about. Little doubt that Hussein Obama will be the next President. However, it won't be so much an inauguration as it will be a coronation.

In a strange way, I am kinda glad to be coming to the end of my life, and will not have to live too long under the new tyrany.

Not that I care to have an argument with a liberal know all; I really don't care about your oxymoron book, as a good liberal you probably love them, buying your book? sorry not in this life time(or next), yes barack hussein obama IF he wins will be because the democrats with Acorn plus reviving people in cemeteries can only hope of glimmer with a black candidate in order to keep kissing their feet, he has the respect of your friends castro, kim Il-sung, mahmoud ahmadinejad, chaves, moore , etc. As to envy, my life is A-OK and as I told a fool I sleep very well at night, I don't need to envy anything from anybody, as to time punching?, I have been free of tie downs since I left the Air Force where I and fellow military expend the time protecting you RIGHT to say what you pleased as a programmer and when they need me analyst I do VERY WELL including time to help people, something the liberals only talk about, as to the blowing of your cork it shows the small brain there with, more than likely filled up by your liberal friends. Finally, even though my network is protected against viruses, I would no go to your website, nothing there would interest me and I would be afraid of my network catching "rabies".

I thought that many people wanted to "throw the bums out" for unethical behavior.....has that all changed since sister Sarah arrived on the scene or have the people decided that they want more of the same?

If anyone was guilty of abusing their power it would be the very one that was fired with justified reasons! Now if justification of a criminal act while on the job and if not showing favortisum (within her own family) is wrong then that just shows how twisted things can get with what is right!

I lkie it. I really like it. Throw a firecracker in the room & go off & enjoy life as it SHOULD be enjoyed & come back whenever. It doesn't matter how people reply; some of them just blog constantly hoping they will be recognized on the news so their life will be somehow bettered because of their wording of a subject that, within a week will be buried under millions of garbled statements. Sipedo,if you go to wordpress, I am all over the place. I will gladly accept your conservative conversation. But I must tell you something. I don't think that I was a Federalist at my table. OH, I am sorry, I mean a republican. Listen Sipedo, why are you challenging me.

You say that if I am who I say I am, then I should contend with you.
