How do you feel?

State lawmakers will work on cutting the 70 BILLION dollar budget by 500 MILLION dollars.

Can you guess what's on the chopping block??  Healthcare,  education..enrollment at universities is expected to be capped etc..

Lawmakers are already divided on what to cut and by how much.  What would YOU advise them??

Well, let's see....

When they started getting more money on the tax hike from increased property values, the VERY FIRST THING that they did was to give themselves huge raises. Some over 100%

Think they'll cut THAT?

Then I drove down 17/92, and in Casselberry next to the Home Depot, there's a new, completely useless fountain. I've seen tons of these things, and enough new, completely useless overpasses over major roadways to walk from here to San Diego.

What I would LOVE to see from you, Elizabeth, is a list of the new entitlement programs that have been added to the budget in the last five years (the "Let me buy your vote" programs), and who sponsored them.

I know that Tony Sasso was a proponent of a 'Department of Peace and Nonviolence'. Did that ever come to pass?

Go to this website. Go to Government.
All the info you are looking for is there and more.
It goes back to 1998.
Most "entitlement" programs are mandated by the Federal Government.

Cut all medical/school/social programs for illegals. Cut school budgets to get rid of the waste (like $28,000 trophy cases).

Cut politicians wages.

Cut "bike" trails that cost millions to build over roads and interstates (how much did they just pay for the bike trail crossover of 17-92?)

Cut cops from taking their cars home unless they LIVE in the jurisdiction (sorry, an Orlando cop driving his/her car to Volusia country every day is NOT cost effective).

FlaNative thats a great start, Volusia County Council doubled there salaries, then gave themselves a 6% pay raise, Lets start parking County Vehicle at the office and make them drive there our cars to work, Kick ALL ILLEGALS OUT of this COUNTRY and take their kids with them, Pay NO TAX's get NO SCHOOL,NO FREE LUNCHES, NO FREE MEDICAL, As a matter of fact no money, NO MEDICAL, Don't stick us with their bills... In 1954 all illegals were DEPORTED when our Economies changed, this was done to save jobs. We can also save WATER, FUEL, FOOD, ROADS, HEALTH CARE and government Services which they pay none of.. I say DEPORT them TODAY and save this COUNTRY...

We as TAXPAYERS need to go thru our County Budgets LINE BY LINE and cut out what WE THE TAXPAYER doesn't need or want..I DON"T TRUST OUR COUNTY GOVERNMENT TO MAKE THESE CHOSES FOR ME, Hell we can't even get them to HEAR US on anyother issue...VOLUSIA COUNTY is closing schools to save money, so they say and in todays NEWSPAPER they are spending our hard earned money to add HISPANIC CURRICULUM into the schools...WHO IS PAYING FOR THIS??? NOT THE MEXICANS, THE TAXPAYERS AGAIN!!!! FIRE ALL OF THESE MORONS, We DON"T NEED THIS OR WANT IT,

WHAT ABOUT THE 334 OTHER COUNTRY'S IN THE WORLD, THIS IS PURE DISCRIMATION !!!! BUT A BIGGER WASTE OF OUR TAX DOLLAR. IF THEY WANT TO LEARN HISPANIC CURRICULUM, MOVE BACK ACROSS THE BORDER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
