Blog Stalkers -- by Douglas ChickBlogging is short for web logging. Blogging is a forum where people post personal thoughts, web links, and opinion…but mostly opinion…a lot of opinion. If you are reading this, you are reading my blog. Once a blog is posted, it is up to its readers to qualify it as truth, lie, or opinion. There is generally a healthy exchanged of idea’s, sometimes followed by a somewhat heated debate of ideology, and in many cases it becomes personal.

Blog Stalkers, or blog bullies are bloggers that attack every post, fill the blog with page after page of almost incoherent ranting, (mostly angry rants regarding liberals or Bush/Cheney being Satan) and frightening away others from posting their opinions because they don’t want to be attacked, or worse…

Fox has 31 blogs in 31 cities. I have visited and read the posts of all 31. And in every city there is always one or two “Blog Stalkers” that control the mood of these websites, beat down its readers, and bully their opinions until their victims do not want to post anymore. Most blog stalkers or blog bullies use pictures of the flag, an eagle or a gun as their icon. I spoke with one Fox reporter who told me that they have ejected many blog stalkers, but only to see them return under yet another anyonomous name.

What has been your experiences with Blog Stalkers?

Douglas those two are the biggest offenders on Tampa and on Orlando now, The mods do nothing to them they get away with murder. For-the-people refer to the ladys on this site as the (c) word and he insults everybody who comments. And yet Fox bans the boogyman for reasons not known but he tells me he has been banned 3 times this week, Boogy wanted me to tell the Orlando bloggers he is not going any where but he will be usning a new name that has nothing to do with boogy. Of course the bloogers that know him will know him and his new name.....And as for you for-the peephole, you can lick me where I sht

So what you’re saying is that, like the football teams favorite cheerleader, you get around. I notice that your blogging is a self-serving attempt to promote Douglas Chick, his website and books on being the proper nerd. So as with this post, your goal is to attract attention to yourself with whatever is the topic dijour that will attract the most attention to your posts!

So here we have a "Blog Stalker" DouglasChick that "stalks" all the Fox blogs in a self-serving manner barely skirting a violation of the TOS, attempting to define "Blog Stalkers"?

Well there are people who seek to do harm, and we have seen them around, but then there are those who debate on facts and context, and usually someone gets upset. Some will just delete any and all comments that do not conform to their beliefs and will do it under the cover of making the other a bad guy.

Blogs have potential to get heated, and if you can't stand that heat, or stand behind your comments then you have no business here in a forum designed for dialog.

Well well! Hows that editing policy workin out for ya there Chick?

I have quite a few folks that have come over to YOUR post on my profile that have shared some rather interesting stories on you there! (minus this punk kid FTP who is obviously just out of control) He likely will be the exception to my delete/editing rule soon. (unless a car goes by and he runs off to bite the tires or something..)

I pointed out that the blogs were a means of questioning opinions and facts and not meant to be a site for mutual slobbering gratuities.

Maybe it was "if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen" which offended you.

Doug your pissing up a tree with these two worms from Tampa. These guys insult everybody no matter who they are, Don't fall for their little games.

Fuuny FTP I could have sworn last night you had told CAndy you abunch of work you had to do this morning? But just like a little crack head crawling on the carpet looking for that rock he knows he droped here you are feeding your addiction to try and make yourself feel better by insulting people....Poor little crack head maybe someday you might feel better and won't have to insult people you don't know.

SpecialEd, this has been an experiment to draw out the nuts. Fox is looking at installing a block button to stop attacks from undesirables.

Well DC.. the problem with a block button is that guys like you will use it to simply block opposing views, and it will help in establishing a pseudo theme in any paticular bloggers site. You know you would have blocked me already so to be able to spew at will without being called out for your facts...

Second, it just means multiple profiles would be in order, or just using an different ISP to get around it.

Here is a solution for ya: Try speaking the factual truth, in context, with perspective, and then you won't have any problems...

For a liberal (aka progressive) I know thats a novel approach..

Its funny really, Liberals here have the ability to simply start their own blog sites, or websites, but the reality that nobody really goes to them keeps them from doing so.

Libs like yourself DC with established forums like papers, sites, and programs, are ALL loosing readership, advertising, and subscriptions. George Sorros has had to bail Air American out twice now.

Its so bad that liberal leadership has tried to instead of debate on facts and substance, to bring forth the Fariness Doctrine Bill that specifically targets talk radio and nothing else.

That tell me the mental process of outright arrogance and corruption of liberals on free speach!
