This Web site is a central source of information and advice about business... lottery... and checking scams. NCL created the site in collaboration with the Alliance for Consumer Fraud Awareness, a coalition of consumer and business organizations, government agencies, and companies that are committed to fighting fake check scams.

It's rather humorous... my favorite is the guy with the beard who the site says is a "damsel in distress."

That is a good site because the new scam is to send a check no matter the size... but on the back it will say "by endorcing this check you have signed up for this or that... " It is a scam that the banks shouldnt help.

Another scam is when you get a call from someone with a weird area code. When you return the call, you get a huge phone toll charge. As a business we used to get unsolisited Faxes that tell you to send a fax (usually a hot button issue like voting, abortion, etc) Some clueless employee send back the fax with their vote and I get a $50 charge on the phone bill. A bunch of Fake stuff like that.
