Congress a ridiculous spectacle

Clemens Steroid use -- Douglas ChickWhat a ridiculous spectacle, with so many issues in the United States that need to be fixed, and with our enemies pounding on our door, that congress holds a hearing on steroid use. Each congressperson used this circus event as nothing more than a chance at free press in an election year, rather than a serious hearing regarding American sports. Congressmen, when you are confused to why you were voted out of Washington this year, I want to you remember the time and taxpayer money you spent on all of your ridiculous spectacles.

Absolutely.. that is why they have a 22 per cent approval rating ... THEY DO NOTHING except get a photo op with this non-sense. John Mica, our REP said the place was so nuts with these hearings and need to do the same for the border and other issues.

With the economy near recession, healthcare needing reform, the boaders need closing, the immagrantion problem needs fixing...this is what our congress is spending time on...steriods? And we wonder why people do not spend the time to vote. Our goverment is a joke when we put issues like steriods, sports and wether someone belongs in the hall of fame or not, before healthcare.
