My daughter said that Steve Irwin’s death was like hearing a friend had died. I think as we all watched him, we wondered if one day we would hear this horrible news. In fact, I once heard him say if something ever happened, the first thing people would say is: “I knew it. I told you that was going to happen.” He just laughed it off.

My heart goes out to Steve Irwin and his family. We lost a friend.

Hits me very hard as well.
This guy was a great addition to society all over the world. What a serious loss to us all.

Steve Irwin was a special man to many people. My kids and I enjoyed watching Steve on tv, he was so full of life and so enthusiastic! He had a special way of teaching that really drew you in. He was admired by many and terribly missed! He will always be remembered!

My heart aches for Terri, Bindi, and little Bob. I can't even begin to imagine how they must feel.

God Bless the Irwin family.

His death to me was just a reminder that life happens so fast it can be taking away doing the stuff you love or not. It showed me that everyone should be doing the stuff we love all the time not the stuff we hate. He loved animals and died doing what he loved. He is now in a better place still doing the things he loves.
