According to a report by the British Antarctic Survey, (BAS) Ice core records show that the current levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere are the highest in 800,000 years, compared to ice core samples. I also read an article that stated, every scientist in the world agrees that auto emissions is the cause of record carbon dioxide levels in the earth’s atmosphere. Carbon dioxide has a direct impact in the cause of global warming, and of course, global warming has a direct impact on weather conditions around where you live.

This is of great concern. I do believe that we (humans) are apart of the climate change however I think something greater than our actions have a roll in this more so, and that is the earth is going through a great change, and this change may or may not permit life on earth for us. Also I do not think this change is going to happen "over night" but more over a longer period of time. Do you really think we are going to be able to live here for ever and earth was made just for us? I don't think so! Our actions such as polution are only making our time here shorter. It's sad to think of how bad we treat this planet, our home.

I think that Senator James Inhofe said it best with his speach before the senate on September 25, 2006. Global warming is nothing more than a scare tactic. I find it quite funny.
