One good thing has come out of all this rain for me and it's truly a blessing! My 1.4 acre spring fed pond had all but dried up, except for where the spring "feeds" it. Thanks to Faye, it's back up to it's normal level. Unfortunately, that also means the once hidden, extremely aggressive Water Moccasins will be emerging, too. After the hurricanes, our pastures literally had HUNDREDS of them, everywhere you looked. As we did before the hhurricanes we moved our horses before Faye hit, to my Uncle's place, because he has  bigger, higher pastures than ours. I'm still thankful that I have my pond "back"! There is always a blessing, in every disaster, if you look closely enough! Thank You, GOD!

Deb, I posted the EXACT same thoughts on the Tampa site entitled "The Perfect Storm - For Us".

Six inches of rain has also brought my pond (much smaller than yours) back to where it should be for the first time since 2004.

Floods s*ck and my heart goes out to those people that received ungodly amounts of rain.

FF, didn't see it, so I'll go look! I'm sad for those hurt and inconvenienced by it all, too! My prayers have been "going up" for them!
RNC, but you moved your bike, first, right? LOL! Get out your gig, and wait for some frogs!

...no worries bike is fine , and my “pond” has already gone away. To bad the grass has grown 8 inches in the past 5 days...looks like I will be working most of the rest of the week getting it under control .

I am most worried about Brevard county they got hit hard some spots had 26 inches of rain and you know we have a few more storms out there...

It's not plagiarism when you quote your source,
Vlad! Thank you for those links. I read your profile, and I see you have the same
"attitude" that I do when it comes to "walking
the streets at night"! Hey, I used to clothespin cards to the spokes of my bicycle tires too. WE were cool when we did that, weren't we, now? LOL! P.S. I love GOD, THE ONE TRUE GOD, too!

Yes we were cool no doubt about it, That was so fun. I like horses too used to ride bareback as a kid with my true love at 10 years old, but alone I don't ride very good, it has been worse since a very good friend was paralyzed, I don't like to admit it but I think I am scared. Yes God is truly Great.

I know a girl, from Lake Co. who had a terrible, freak accident horseback riding who is now paralyzed. She was only 15 when it happened.

We rode hard, we were proud, my friend Mitchael Tensley, soft spoken, give you the food off his plate.

I watched him pull wheelies on his Triumph 650 through the intersection of Hy 50 and Mills (1792) when givemme shelter was on that corner. Disco

Man, had a sweet disposition that was sometimes miss interpreted as a weakness. I told several people to back off, tells me don't intifear 3 dudes against him, I went got him a cold beer ,long ago but not forgotten.

THAT sounds like a sad story! "My" little girl, Brandi Baker, who you CAN "Google" and read her story, was taken UNDER a fallen pine tree by an out of control horse. I did 2 Poker Runs for her as fundraisers. Big hearted bikers helped me raise some "big bucks" for her. Ironically, her Daddy's name is Buck. "Polecat Extreme," one of our bloggers here came to one of the runs.

I love MOST people, especially children and old people, and I am especially offended when someone hurts one of them. "NEVER WRESTEL WITH PIGS, THE PIGS LIKE IT, AND YOU'LL JUST GET DIRTY!" Modified from a quote by my dear friend, jfore
