An 11 year old robs a Walgreens? What is an 11 year old doing so UNSUPERVISED, that his PARENTS don't know where the little BRAT is long enough, that he even has enough free, UNACCOUNTABLE TIME ON HIS GRUBBY  LITTLE HANDS to pull it off in the first place? The parents should be going to jail, right along with him! An 11 year old IS NOT old enough to be UNSUPERVISED for longer than say, 15 minutes at a time, SO HOW DID THIS HAPPEN IN THE FIRST PLACE??????

IT ALL starts at   H  O  M  E  !!!!!

But don't you know parenting ended in the 90's it is now all up to “the village” to do all the parenting ! It can be summed up with the speeches that Hillary Clinton gave while her husband was chasing the staff around the big desk : “No parent can succeed alone” , “The community must take responsibility for our children” etc. witch can be summed up as a transfer of power and responsibility for children from the parents to “the state” ...

RNC, THAT was the biggest crock of malodorous
feces that ever shot out of the mouth of that mindless, blabbermouth, and you know it as well as I do! No country boy is gonna pull that kind of "child-raising technique" on this country girl, and get away with it! LMLAO!!!! (I know you're kiddin'!)

The p's were at home snoozing. The kid needs the cream cheese kicked out of him by his parents when they get him home.

RNC08 I have to agree with you, The ADULTS who donated there body's to bring this punk into the world should also be CHARGED with the Robbery. If more so called Parents were put in jail for what these KIDS do than they would keep a better eye on them....

Where can I read about this story? I can't find it on this site. I'm curious about what he took and did he have a weapon.

Rottweiler, Gotta "previously trained" guard dog who needs to brush up on his "holding techniques"? I think this "baby daddy" could use a lesson in "restraint"! LOL!

My question is how were these parents able to raise a child who would take on a project like this all by himself when the rest of us have a hard time getting our kids to empty the dishwasher! Even after we've reminded them 100 times!!!

Wow, unbelievable! But I'm not ready to wright the kid off just yet. He's being charged as he should. But I really need to know why he did what he did. Did his parents make him do it? Was he in a desperate situation?

I can only think how lucky everyone was in this..
If I was on my way to work (right time in the morning), and stopped there for a snack, well, let's just say that many people in Florida have CCW permits. 11 year old is really lucky. YES Parents should be charged in this case from the sounds of it....

Lucky?!? He had BBguns!I would have
smacked that little twirp over the head
with a summer sausage had I'd been there.
One good "THWACK" over that little re-re's noggin would fix his attitude for life!
God, I'm so sick of pu--ies that don't take
matters into their own hands!

It is not very hard to distinguish between BBguns and a real hand gun. Anyone who says it is is probably a trigger happy cop with improper training.

Damnit! Why don't things like this ever happen while I'm shopping?

I think that maybe this child has seen and heard conversations between his parents and other adults about how hard times are now for everyone. Maybe their lives have changed so much and the child is smack in the middle of it and maybe he wanted to help in any way he could. Where did he learn the violence? Well lets see, on the television? video games that too many parents are oblivious to how violent they are or how influential are? maybe they do have an idea but they are glad to have a built in baby sitter. Just some other things to consider. I am in no way condoning the actions of this boy and my heart goes out to the people involved this morning, I'm sure all were truely terrified. I also am not dismissing the parents in any way and hold them responsible for the child's behavior one way or another. I also am curious to know why this child's identity has been released by the press? he won't see a judge until tomorrow. Who has deemed him to be tried as an adult already?

All i can think is what a life this child must have. 11 or 12 and he's up at 3:30 am for beginners and nards enough to attemp this. Sounds like either a hard core home life or young gang banger or both.

Very good point!!!!
Even his picture is pasted all over the
news. It's funny, obviously FOX is
not threatened by any legal ramifications
by this family.

Like I said, "it all starts at home..." He's danged lucky I wasn't in that store at that very moment. I'm not going to stand by, helplessly, and wait for some thug to "take me out" as a witness. Sorry Charlie, you're going down, before you kill me, because I want
to go home to my family. Out at 3am? How is that? If my daughter gets up for a drink at 3am, I know about it, and I'm up getting her ice! Out the door? Not in my world!

The parents obviously need parental counseling and most likely, government assistance to allow them to be a part of the "village".

I'll bet the lad is the product of a dysfunctional family unit and this may steer him in the right direction....if not, he'll join the majority of lads in prison raised thinking the "thug" life is the only life.

We need a little "change" in our society, don't we?

Though you all may be rite.
Has this child a record of this behavior?
there are 1440 minutes in a day. People sleep and kids learn how to get around their parents.
I have boys one 38 the other 23 and they are slick .

Parents and child need to face justice.Although from hearing the idiot father on tv, I'm expecting to see the stupid race card pulled out of their pockets soon.

Some of you posters crack me up ! You talk about how “hard” things are as a motivation / excuse for crime...for you to have any credibility we would have to have seen a time in the past when there was No Crime and or a time when there was No Poverty ! Yes Deb I was kidding (sort of) fact is that Hillary and her speech do point to the heart of this problem...parents who have no control over their children and a society that tells them they are not obligated ! ...It does not take “a village” all it takes is a parent to raise a child , the “village” is only good at getting in the way and preventing parents from doing what must be done.

I love MOST people, especially children and old people, and I am especially offended when someone hurts one of them. "NEVER WRESTEL WITH PIGS, THE PIGS LIKE IT, AND YOU'LL JUST GET DIRTY!" Modified from a quote by my dear friend, jfore
