I'm with you all the way on this one Frank. I get tired of all the junk in the news section that is not news. The bloggers have some very interesting things to bring up and they should always make the front page. I understand that it's Fox's blog, but it is suppose to be for us.

Well, I would have put my post in the Religious area, but I'm not sure it would be looked at. So is this considered News? Oh, yeah, they don't have a section for whining. LOL

The only thing I wonder about the Fox Crew, is why sometimes they put Entertainment news, in the News category. It doesn't really matter, if it's interesting, it's all good.

Its just the way it goes, News is the first section you get to.

LOL Gammies, Yeah this bog should be on tha Waa Whinning blog.... ;o)

They should set up a general blog area, then a news area, then the others listed.

Leve the News area for the employees to post what do you think questions regarding News.

So far the boards are dead, the blogs are so/so with maybe 20-30 bloggers with the exception of the 35 staff. Heck most of my blogs would fall under "General" ..

Theres alot of truth to the statement ' you can make people happy some of the time, but just not all the time'..

Brenda, I have noticed that too, and especially with YOUR posts. Dunno why that is.

It could be either of two things.

1) The Fox people do not read the blogs before posting, to see if someone else has already done the topic. Of course thier post WILL be on the front page.

2) They do read the blogs, and think: Hey, thats a good topic! I will write a post on that too. This knowing full well that thier post WILL be on the front page.

Either way, it seems wrong to me.

Signal, it hasn't always been like this. When I first came here, there were far more bloggers than there are now.

While we have gained a few new ones, we have lost many old ones. I think I am beginning to see why. Every month, there has been more Fox people on the front page, and fewer regular bloggers.
Great posts are ignored in archive, while any BLEEP post written by a Fox person automatically hits the front page.
I am not saying every post by a Fox person is BLEEP, they have written some great posts, and gotten many responses. But a lot of them are.

Brenda, the inspiration for this post came from oldvamps post.
A great post, that I was very surprised did not make the front page. If you read my last comments there, you will see the reason I wrote this post soon after.

Fox wonders why no one posts. It is because those that take the time and effort to write a meaningful, newsworthy post, are ignored while a Fox person can jot a sentence or two, and go right to the front page.

As you said, it makes you want to stop blogging. And many have. At least here.

But then again I'll play devils advocate and say this is their board and they can run it as they wish. ;o(

Daytona you are not alone.....I think like in prior blogs....fox35 people are LOVING IT but there should be some sort of cut offs. I remember when this site first started it was intense....nothing but bloggers...THEN I LEFT FOR A WHILE ONLY TO come back to all what you said......LOL...Merry New Year

Do you really think the webmaster cares what anyone here thinks? I believe there are more then one person that posts the blogs and you can tell when it's someone different at the helm! One of them I have absolutly no respect for and some of you know the reason why and it cost FOX a regular blogger!

Lol Brenda, at least you give them good topics to use!

If you feel like compiling something, compile the total comments on each of your listed blogs.

That should be fun!

I think we can see the real problem right in this blog Frank. Not one comment from FOX folks. They don't bother reading other blogs. Heck, they don't even bother coming back to their own blog to read what others have said to them. They need some help and they need a new person running the board. This is more a management problem then anything else.
