My Thoughts

I have had to call on the Apopka Police Dept a few times over this last month, and I must say they responded within minutes each time I called. An arrest was made each time, and they actually caught 1 criminal by the use of a license plate # and were there at the house waiting for him, before he even got home. Great job by these officers, and a special salute to Officer Garcia, who is always ready to help under any conditions, no matter how big or small the problem is.

Fox if I can't mention that officers name, please delete it ok. If I can, I think it is a well deserved Salute.

Great story DVS. Giving credit where due is and for those in this profession rare in this day. There are a lot of fine people risking life and limb daily and they deserve honorable mention !

It's good to see people actually thanking the police, instead of blasting them for a change. For every bad story you hear about a cop, they're are probably a thousand good ones you don't hear.

Maybe they could shoot the rats invading Apopka? The golfers are killing the birds that used to do that job.
Cops get bad press when they do stuff like the Tavares Cops who drug the 80 year old lady from her car, cuffed her and took her to jail as she wouldn't sign her ticket. What difference does it make if you don't sign it?

Well, you must sign the ticket because it is the law. If you do not sign it, you could just toss it and say you never got it!
By signing it, you are only stating that you received it, not that you agree with it.
You can contest it in court if you wish.
Refusing to sign is an arrestable offense.

Funny sabaii, I thought YOU were a cop. Guess I was wrong.
