RETINAL SCAN to VOTE - retina ID database If we can retina scan cattle,

we should be able to retina scan people to verify their ID when voting.

Our current voting system is old and allows tampering. It needs to be updated

to use 21st century technology. Retina scan, paper trail, and a copy of each

individual voter's activity printed out (on location) for that voter. Let's stop the games.

I saw a news story that stated the sport of hunting has
increased by approximately 75% during the past 5 or 6
years, mostly due to girls and women taking up the sport.

The director of the Texas Wildlife Association, Greg
Simons said that girls and women have been an untapped
resource for them, and that states need the money from
selling hunting licenses because the money helps to pay
for wildlife protection.

I do not approve of killing for sport.  If the wild animal
poses a threat to your life, your family, or your crops,
of course, I believe one should defend one's self.

Sometimes a species becomes over populated, starvation
can become a problem. In that instance, I believe hunting
is a good thing, as long as the meat is used by the hunter
to feed his/her family. And we need transparent oversight
to ensure there is enough land for wild animals to live on.

I believe a hunting license should only be issued when
the applicant has achieved a 9:10 kill to shot ratio when
tested, by the State, on a range in which the same type
of animal (which the applicant is applying for the license)
is emulated by a computerized, life size target that moves
with the same speed and agility of that overpopulated
animal (similar to police/military pop-ups of humans).

If we are going to teach children to hunt, we must also
remember our responsibility to teach them humanity.

The debate went well for both McCain and Obama. Attacks during the debate, were not as prevalent as recent ads might have indicated. McCain threw some punches, but Obama came back strong and drove his message home. Obama seemed to be more specific about how he plans to correct the problems facing American families.

Obama is determined to fight for the middle class working people, where McCain stated he plans to give tax breaks to everyone, including the most wealthy.

Obama was also clearly in favor of renewing relations with our allies to more effectively deal with problems in Pakistan, Iran, and other countries. I believe Obama won this debate.

Is ANYTHING from Toxic China safe? Poison from China.

We've seen many reports about toxic products from China.
Some are: milk, chocolate, toys, chairs, jewelry, furniture,
pet food, paint, pills, toothpaste and more. What do you
buy from China? Is the reason you buy Chinese products
because factories that used to make those items inside the
United States have moved overseas to take advantage of
cheap labor? Obama wants to renegociate some of our
trade agreements which give foreign countries an unfair
advantage. Would we have better quality control  for items
which are produced in the U.S.?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Transcript of Couric & Palin:
COURIC: You've cited Alaska's proximity to Russia as part
of your foreign policy experience. What did you mean by that?
PALIN: That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border
between a foreign country, Russia, and on our other side,
the land-- boundary that we have with-- Canada. It-- it's
funny that a comment like that was-- kind of made to--
cari-- I don't know, you know? Reporters--
COURIC: Mock?
PALIN: Yeah, mocked, I guess that's the word, yeah.
COURIC: Explain to me why that enhances your foreign policy credentials.
PALIN: Well, it certainly does because our--
our next door neighbors are foreign countries.
They're in the state that I am the executive of.
And there in Russia--
COURIC: Have you ever been involved with any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?
PALIN: We have trade missions back and forth.
We-- we do-- it's very important when you consider
even national security issues with Russia as Putin
rears his head and comes into the air space of the
United States of America, where-- where do they go?
It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is--
from Alaska that we send those out to make sure
that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation,
Russia, because they are right there. They are right
next to-- to our state.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Palin's response sounds remarkably similar in style to the following transcript:

Questioner: Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans
can't locate the U.S. on a world map. Why do you think this is?

Miss Teen South Carolina: I personally believe the U.S.
Americans are unable to do so because some people out there
in our nation don't have maps and I believe that our education
like such as in South Africa and the Iraq everywhere like
such as and I believe they should our education over here in
the U.S. should help the U.S. or should help South Africa or
should help the Iraq and Asian countries so we will be able to
build up our future for us.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's just so eerie... They sound like twins!
Just heard Palin's visit to "The Villages" here in Florida was canceled "due to weather"?
What the heck? Not a drop of rain here, and not much anywhere near here.
The news said there may be showers today. ???
A Riviera Beach judge ruled in favor of a teen who spent
a night in jail for wearing too baggy pants which showed
his underwear. The youth was wearing his pants about
5 inches lower than his underwear.
OK to wear underwear showing in public?
What type? How much? Where's the line?
Is it OK for young daughters or sons to see?
OPINIONS ??
REPORTERS ARRESTED at 2008 PRESIDENTIAL CONVENTION
Do you believe the press should have the right to film and report news?
Do you believe tear gas should be used on peaceful demonstraters?
Do American people have a right to know what our government is doing?
Following are examples of recent events (Links will open in a new window.):
I get bored seeing the same news over and over again, day after day. Are there other viewers who also feel this way? If there's nothing new which is really important about a story, why keep replaying things like a mother crying about being in jail, and a grandmother crying about her granddaughter? Of course people feel sorry for them and hope their child / grandchild is found unharmed, but enough is enough. What ever happened to the old style news that was not formatted as a reality TV show?
