Rep. Ron Paul never really ended his quest for the presidential bid.  Nonetheless, he says he's not quite ready to endorse a candidate but prefers Obama's foreign policy.

Do you care? What do you think about the fact that he hasn't officially thrown in the towel?

Thanks for blogging,
Corrina

Hi Corrina,
Yes I care. He has no chance of winning so why has he not thrown in the towel? This is just more dirty political nonsense!!!

He was horrible and looney and WE all thought his bid was over from day one. He has millions of earmarks, money from a White Supremist guy, and there 20 years and I never heard of all his Brain storms until this race. And I see he hasnt introduced any legislation since the GOP race was over (Kind of like John Kerry who also had all the answers and now nothing from that guy). I wouldnt care what he thinks or who he picks... I would like to know who is the loser that he beats in his elections there in the corner of Texas-Mexico. Good riddens.

O are we supposed to waste time worrying about who he will give all his supporters ? He can just play fair and give one to Obama and the other one to Hillary...sorry but its just not of any note that he is still in the race, perhaps he and Hillary will wind up in the same rehab clinic running against each other for President of the psych ward !!!

Jackson made MILLIONS running LOSING Campaigns..Paul is NO different..His sponsorship of Obama ONLY re-inforces what I've been saying since the beginning..

HE is the PRODUCT of those who wish to make another Ross Perot out of him..

I have YET to hear from ANYONE who wasn't a LIBERAL Democrat who pretended to suppoort his cause and I suspect it was ALL a FARCE..THEY were doing the "Operation Chaos" thing LONG before Rush Limbaugh..

You got it Hawk ! Notice how all the Ron supporters on the net have stopped pretending they are anything less than far left liberals now that he is out of the race ? It was sickening to watch people say “I am a life long Republican and I support Ron”...so glad the “RP” hat trick back fired this time ! Just goes to show you can't fool the elephant twice , the Donkey on the other hand will fall for the same trick over and over again !

“I am a life long Republican and I support Ron”..

THIS "I was a Republican" BS started with the Kerry Campaign and is JUST an offshoot of the "I an MOT a Liberal" claim..

NO one wants to Identify themselves as an extremist..THIS is particularly TRUE of the Liberals who wish to distance themselves from their Catastrophic FAILURES of the past..They HAVEN'T changed ONE bit NOR do they CHOOSE to Learn..It's EASIER to brand EVERYONE who's right of Karl Marx as a RWNJ..

THEY are USED to wearing Masks..What they're NOT used to is having their OWN kind ripping it off for them..THAT'S what's going on NOW...LMAO..

What they DIDN’T count on was a LIBERAL who has the AUDACITY to ACT like a Liberal..Someone who has NO loyalties other then to herself and her 40 year plan..Not Liberalism,,Not EVEN the Democrat Party..NOT even Bill..All these things are USEFUL to her and as LONG as they are,, SHE will tolerate them..She married BILL for the plan..She PUT UP with Bill for it..She’s done things that SHOULD have gotten her put her in JAIL for it..And NOW that she can see the Prize,,,DAMN if she’ll give it up..She’s worked TOO long and TOO hard to let it slip away NOW…

Darn right she has worked hard for it ! She has shed blood for it ! (not her own , but people have died to put her where she is right now...LOL)
Fact is if that woman was a patriot and working for this country I would be all for putting her in charge...unfortunately she is only interested in her own rear end and will gladly burn this nation to the ground as long as she can sit as “Queen of the ashes” !

We dont and he keeps going for us becuase he wants to represent our positions on current polotics. Say what you want but this man is a decent politican which cant be said regularly these days.

"becuase he wants to represent our positions on current polotics."

Then he should STAY where he IS..It is the job of a REPRESENTATIVE to represent your positions on current politics..NOT the PRESIDENT..It is the JOB of the Presiodent to run the COUNTRY..

You nailed it Hawk Senators and congressmen represent the district that elected them (well they are supposed to do that anyway) the President is supposed to be the one clear voice that looks out for the interest of the whole nation....(This nation Hillary /Obama not north Africa or China ...sorry could not help but add that)

Come on CTM2 have you seen his face ? You can hardly expect him to scare children nation wide by showing it around , for those of you who have never seen this guy : remember the “Crypt keeper” from tails from the crypt ? ...if he had an ugly grandfather that would be what Ron Paul looks like !

RP Never HAD strong support...
I've NEVER seen him rise above 12% and he hit THAT only once..
Like I said before,,It SEEMS that his most avid "supporters",, the ones who kept PUSHING for him,, always seem to find a Democrat to vote for when the REAL POLL,, otherwise known as an election,, comes around..

Splitting the vote worked in the election of '92..it didn't work THIS time.....

But FEAR Not,, WE didn't get the one WE wanted either..

Ron Paul's foreign policy was disturbing. In an interview I saw, he claimed that the way he would save us money was to shut down ALL of our military bases all over the world, and bring our forces back into the U.S. After all, as he claimed, "the reason they hate us is because we're over there". He wanted to reach out to all the evil dictators out there with "peace and friendship", much like Obama wants to.

The second worst thing about Ron Paul, and his biggest weakness at that, were his own supporters, who worship the guy like a religous cult figure. I don't recall a single interview or post by a Paul supporter that didn't sound at least a little loony.

Recently, I heard on the radio about a Republican convention (or some kind of function, memory is fuzzy) that was interrupted when a bunch of Paul supporters crashed the event, claiming that they were "taking over". Can anyone clarify this?

LOL Corrine ... geesh you can drum up a blog "cantchya" ... LMAO @ Ron Paul!!

Ummm here is a letter drafted a month ago (I think)... if it all doesn't show here is link >>

br>
Whoa! What a year this has been. And what achievements we have had. If I may quote Trotsky of all people, this Revolution is permanent. It will not end at the Republican convention. It will not end in November. It will not end until we have won the great battle on which we have embarked. Not because of me, but because of you. Millions of Americans — and friends in many other countries — have dedicated themselves to the principles of liberty: to free enterprise, limited government, sound money, no income tax, and peace. We will not falter so long as there is one restriction on our persons, our property, our civil liberties. How much I owe you. I can never possibly repay your generous donations, hard work, whole-hearted dedication and love of freedom. How blessed I am to be associated with you. Carol, of course, sends her love as well.

Let me tell you my thoughts. With Romney gone, the chances of a brokered convention are nearly zero. But that does not affect my determination to fight on, in every caucus and primary remaining, and at the convention for our ideas, with just as many delegates as I can get. But with so many primaries and caucuses now over, we do not now need so big a national campaign staff, and so I am making it leaner and tighter. Of course, I am committed to fighting for our ideas within the Republican party, so there will be

the rest ...
Of course, I am committed to fighting for our ideas within the Republican party, so there will be no third party run. I do not denigrate third parties — just the opposite, and I have long worked to remove the ballot-access restrictions on them. But I am a Republican, and I will remain a Republican.

I also have another priority. I have constituents in my home district that I must serve. I cannot and will not let them down. And I have another battle I must face here as well. If I were to lose the primary for my congressional seat, all our opponents would react with glee, and pretend it was a rejection of our ideas. I cannot and will not let that happen.

In the presidential race and the congressional race, I need your support, as always. And I have plans to continue fighting for our ideas in politics and education that I will share with you when I can, for I will need you at my side. In the meantime, onward and upward! The neocons, the warmongers, the socialists, the advocates of inflation will be hearing much from you and me.

Sincerely,
Ron

Thanks Bc that was entertaining ! I first suspected that Ron was in need of medication when I saw him state that this nation does not need an army of any kind ! The very first action this nation took was to build and army and if we do away with our military that will be the last thing this nation ever did ! It will be a dark day for every human being on this planet the day some one finishes what Bill Clinton started and rids the planet of an America that is able to defend itself.....

Hard to say Looking , I would say hundreds of millions but I am beginning to think it may be higher than that. The Clinton's have set a whole new standard for how much money you can gain by running but because they keep postponing their court cases we still don't know how much they have profited from the electoral proses.
