MONTE CARLO, Monaco (AP) -- All of Marion Jones' results dating to September 2000, including her Olympic and world championship titles, were annulled Friday because of doping. Track and field's governing body also told her to return her estimated $700,000 in prize money from that period. The International Association of Athletics Federation recommended that Jones' relay teammates be disqualified and lose their medals from the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

Do you think Jones' relay teammates from the 2000 Sydney Olympics should be disqualified and lose their medals too?

Happy Friday!

While they got their medals through Jones cheating, as a team they should lsoe them. But I think a good compromise here would be to award the Silver medalists Gold Medals also, the Broze medalists Silver and the 4th palce team a Bronze while letting the other 3 from the US team keep the medals as tokens but lose it in the record book.

That's a tough question for me. I agree with Bruno with this one. It was not her teams fault that Jones cheated. I would also keep some sort of record that would clarify why the teamates were taken out of the record book so that their reputation isn't tarnished.

It doesn't matter if it is her team mates fault or not. If Jones had fallen down during the race they would have lost even though it wasn't their fault she fell. Win as a team, lose as a team.

They were all in it together so therefore also be "out" of it together. Because of one, they all lose period. Who knows if the teamates were also on something themselves. A cheater is a cheater.
