Hillary Clinton can stay in the race as long as she wants but it's time for us to start matching up John McCain versus Barack Obama. This is our presidential match-up for November.

How do they compare? Does Obama's lack of experience really magnify itself against a war and political veteran like McCain? Maybe McCain's lack of support from the far right of the Republican party doesn't matter as much.

The most recent polls show McCain with a slight lead nationally, and here in Florida, against Obama. Will that keep playing out until election day?

Many of us Republicans / Conservatives are not happy with McCrud / McLiberal. The problem is, Obama is worse. We will go and vote for the butt-head because he is the lesser of the evils. No wait, thats EVILS!!!

I've also heard my Democrat / Liberal friends say that they are voting for McCrud if Obama gets the nomination. I really don't know what will happen in the end. Just some food for thought.

I object to this continued reference to regular Conservatives as the Far Right..

MOST are NOT..ONLY by re-definition can one come to THAT conclusion and THAT re-definition takes the form of thinking of the FAR LEFT as Centrist,,THEY are NOT..

They FACT is that McCain has a following with Independents and MODERATES of BOTH Parties..

Conservatism is ONLY considered "Far" anything in a world where the Far Left is in COMPLETE Control and has an OVERWHELMING popularity..

WE haven't QUITE reached THAT point yet or SO many of the Libs. today wouldn't be denying that they ARE Libs..

I'm afraid the trend has already started...anyone critical of Obama is a "racist" or is against him because he is black. I also think certain networks will play this to the hilt!!!

I don't care what color he is, I would never vote for Obama. His relationship with "Rev" Wright, the writings by his wife in college, his how comments in his first book...sorry, I believe the man is anti-America and anti-white, not to mention a socialist.

I'm not happy about voting for McCain, but he IS the lesser of evils by a long shot!!! How long would he had lasted if he had an "advisor" saying the things "Rev" Wright said? You don't really believe Obama is not still be advised by him, do you????

No Kidding FN..The President has a visit with a DECENT religious leader and ALL hell breaks loose..

But WE'RE all supposed to FORGET a 20 year relationship between a DEMOCRAT Candidate and his HUGO CHAVEZ Minister..

Not that it should surprise any of you but McCain is drawing support from all over the map , or more accurately Obama is disenfranchising people in places you would never expect. A t a fund raiser recently an 65 year old black gentleman acquaintance of mine confided that he no longer votes but because his militant doughtier is going to vote for “that man” he is going to vote for McCain just to cancel out her vote...in his own words he “just can't let that man represent him or run his country”

In other parts of the nation my hard core Union/do or die Democrat sister in Minnesota is going to be voting for McCain because she has listened to Obama and does not trust him as far as she can throw him, in North Florida my “school teacher /die hard democrat” sister and her Super liberal Husband are going to vote for McCain because Obama has no credibility and his ideas do not make any sense . So McCain is our little “Jimmy Carter” we all hate him to some extent but are willing to put up with him because the only alternative is so much worse!

Sorry but I still don't think any of them are worthy enough for the position! We should have another kind of campaign going with "We the People" vs Government! They have done more harm then good!

Whether it is McCain vs Clinton or McCain vs Obama, it doesn't really matter much. There are slight differences, for sure, but at the end of the day, they are all liberals. I'd bet there are some old line conservatives who will just sit it out in Novemeber rather than vote of the lesser of two liberals. The republicans have still not learned a lesson from losing control of Congress, now they will lose the White House as well.

IF the ONLY difference is in WHO thry'll nominate for the judiciary,,THAT'S good enough for ME..NOT that I'm happy with these choices but THAT alone is enough of a difference for me to go with McCain..

McCain is a bit arrogant,,a Bit of a "Maverick" but I see NO reason to believe he's a LIAR..In fact,,he's actually a bit TOO arrogant for that..

In ANY event..it's something and IF I'm WRONG about him being a LIAR,,well,,we would've gotten the SAME thing from the Democrats anyway except in THAT case,,we would be VOTING for it..

I much prefer Obama to HRC any day of the week. HRC is a criminal, BHO is merely young and untried. His associations are just BS that the HRC supporters, you know the uneducated, blue collar, trailer park folks take issue with because they have no idea what the real issues this country faces are.
That being said, MCCain is by far the better candidate.
Like him or not, left, right or the middle, he's the only clear choice we have.

I to was tempted to sit this one out or even give my vote to Hillary to prove a greater point, but that was before Obama and Hillary defined their position on the Economy , Taxes , the trade deficit and defending this country against know aggressors....If you have doubts listen to them campaign ! Obama is the kind of leader that wins with the same kind of promises that Hugo Chavez made to Venezuela (how has that worked out for the people LOL) Hillary is the kind of leader that won Cuba's last dozen “free elections” .....McCain is not a good example of conservative values , but he is the only example of a real American in this race !

I am going with McCain..I think his tatics are a tad bit off..but I think he will get wiser as time goes. I personally never liked BOH because I believe his DOWNFALL was using color for his base for running HE NEVER SHOULD HAVE WENT THERE.....also he is inexperienced and what I have investigaged he didn't even run for SENATE he was placed in that position FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE of running for president..AGAIN, OBAMA IS A PUPPET OF THE DEMOCRATS..and they are the ones pulling his strings.....I pray McCain will only make a good solid choice for VP and WE SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO......p.s. I don't think CRIST is or will be good for that position HE HAS SCREWED Florida will all this tax relief...REALLY I see how much help or should I say chaos it has cost the taxpayers......be safe...

Charley Christ is not the problem. Our out of control spending in this state is the problem , his actions where the correct move the “aftermath” you all are referring to is the result of an exploitive government that is already spending way to much of our money on BS that does not help “we the people of Florida” in any way! Dumping more money (MY MONEY!) on the problem is not the answer...or in this case helping our “slave masters” demand more tribute is not the path to freedom !

Well everybody should read my news blog posted today.
Now where to start I don't claim to be of eigther party I like to vote for who I think would be best to run this country.
SO I'M VOTEING FOR McCAIN IN NOV.
FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS OBAMA IS NOT THE MAN FOR THIS JOB.
1. HE HAS NO LEGACY OF LEGISLATIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS.
2.FROM THE TIME HE WAS SWORN IN AS A SENATOR TO THE TIME ANNOUNCED HE WAS RUNNING FOR PRES. HE HAD LOGGED 143 DAYS OF EXPERIENCE.
3.HIS CHRUCH TRINITY CHRUCH OF CHRIST, TO BELONG YOU HAVE BACK AFRICIA
4.HIS ASSO. HAMAS TERRORIST ORGANIZATION(MARXISM), REV. WRIGHT,REV. OTIS MOSS, FRRAHKAN,BLACK PANTHERS ORG., AYERS, MOVE ON.ORG,HIS SPONSORING OF THE GLOBAL POVERTY ACT S.2433
5.HIS STAND ON THE 2ND. AMENDMENT
6.REFUSES TO WEAR THE FLAG OR PLACE HIS HAND OVER HIS HEART WHILE SAYING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM.
7. THE WAY HIS WIFE THINKS OF AMERICA,AND YOU IF ELECTED SHES 1ST LADY SHE WILL BE INPUTTING HER VOICE.
8. BOTH ARE ANTI-AMERICAN
9. BOTH ARE ANTI-WHITE
10.AND HE THINKS THERE IS 57 STATE'S IN THE UNITIED STATES.
