I'm sitting out on the patio at my hotel in Santa Monica. It's Friday morning, the sun is out and it's going to be 70 degrees with a nice on-shore breeze off the Pacific Ocean. I'm with a group of 5 guys out here for the Pac-10 Basketball Tournament.


Thursday was a looooooong (but incredibly fun) day. From the time I woke up in Orlando, 4:30am, to the time I went to bed out here, 2:00am, it was a 24 hour 30 minute day! I flew west; sat through 4 basketball games and hit the town afterward. No I didn't see Paris Hilton.


Washington State beat Oregon last night so we're headed back to the Staples Center tonight for the semi-finals. The Cougs play Stanford while UCLA plays USC. Should be fun.

Time to go hit the beach...Pacific water temps are running 55 to 58 degrees!
