Is this what we have coming? , and How come there has'nt been a big out cry this time around with the Price ?
I am getting sick of the oil companies Sqeezing the life blood out of us, to tell us "we made record profits" of course you did you morons..

I just came back from putting gas in my automobile. I put $50 in the gas tank, and it did not even fill up!!

I'm thinking of getting a bike and use it to get to work!!

the truth is, the stores aren't the ones making a big profit on the gas, and have no control over setting the price. they make their profit margin on all that other stuff you buy in the store. it has a much higher profit margin than gas, which is usually only a few cents from the stations I've talked to here and other states. many stations actually make more money when gas is cheaper. the oil companies are a different story altogether.

Could there even be an outside chance that by putting these stores sales where they make a profit in jeopardy because of the high gas prices, that they will direct that pressure on the oil companies and also have a word in telling them to lower the price or they won't sell it?

No, I stated I didn't believe in the person's God who created that blog. I never said I didn't believe in a higher power or God :), I do. Just not in conventional ways

Oil companies can not justify their profits unless you add in the lobbyist factor!The refineries are there. The gas stations are there. Shortages that they say are caused by refinerys down> That's crap! Come on! They have billions! Are you trying to tell me that they didn't know that there was a problem. No. They knew. They caused the problem to increase the price. I don't believe a word these liars say!

NEZE, you have the right idea. Use less gas. Anything else is a waste of time. All of these people who thought the oil was going to last forever will wake up soon. Drill all you want, but you better buy stock in oil if you want to be able to afford gas soon. We have alternatives, but as I can see here, most folks just care about getting their precious gas, not changing their habits.

Buy a solar water heater, to reduce oil consumption for electric power, and don't buy gas hogs. Get a job near home, or a home near work.

And for God's sake, "Don't accelerate to get to the stop sign faster!" You'll save on brakes too.

LOL I can just see people filling up their compact cars, then siphoning the gas over to the guzzler.

Maybe you get a tax rebate if you buy a hybrid, rather than a tax break for SUVs? That was the dumbest idea EVER!!

Donin.....I haven't bought gas from Citgo close to two years becuase Chavez owns it. I haven't bought gas from Exxon since the Valdez mess in Alaska and Hess is owned by Arabs so I don't buy from them either. I had been buying from Marathon, an American company but they have a court date for price gouging in Kentucky, so I haven't been buying from them either. So the pickings are starting to get slim.
