Another Beautiful Night Launch!

OMG...I just LOVE to watching the shuttles and rockets go up! My favorite is the Night launches with the way it just totally lights up the sky with its bright engine fuel burning colors! The last launch with the Endeavor was just as special and beautiful! Watching it from across the Lagoon is exciting! Everyone gets a kick out of watching!!! And I do mean everyone!
There were thousands of spectators that proudly watched as the Endeavor brightens up the skies even bright then the full moon which just happen to be shining brightly itself! Vehicles all up and down along the roads waiting for count down! This is something that everyone shares proudly and cheering throughout the whole experience!
And let me tell you about the traffic from those thousands of people! It wasn't too bad getting to your chosen destination but let me tell you...its a MAD HOUSE when its all over and people are returning home! BUMPER to BUMPER on US1, I95, 528, 406, 407, HWY50! And I mean BUMPER to BUMPER TRAFFIC JAMS GALORE for many, many miles down each main road! We pulled over like some folks did and was giving things on the road time calm down. Well I'm here to tell ya...it went on till way after midnight in some areas! Glad I know them back roads but even with that knowledge, you found yourself somewhere along the travel back in a putt putt situation!
But all in all....THAT WAS SOME LAUNCH HUH!!!! GO ENDEAVOR...what a sight!

I guess you would say this is another one of those "Believe It or Not" pictures of figures showing up in the oddest places and things. No this time it isn't Jesus or the Mother Mary but rather what looks like to me to be the figure of a WOLF Head!
One New Years Eve, my husband, my cousin, and myself decided to bring in the New Year by building a bond fire with our Christmas Tree which was a beautiful Blue Spruce...one of the nicest trees I've even had in which was given to us by my X-son n law's family tree farm in Virginia! While getting the fire burning really good and around midnight, I took some pictures of the fames and fire flies it was making because it was spectacular in a most unusual was! We danced around the fire making noises like a war party enjoying ourselves immensely!
Just today I decided to go through all my old pictures. While going through them I ran across one of those pictures from that night and noticed something I never noticed before!
The Picture..............

I did a double take when I saw this because I couldn't believe what I thought I was seeing here within this picutre so I scanned it to my laptop to take a closer look and get a bigger picture of just what I was seeing! The shape looked clear as day! It looks to me like a Wolf Head within the fire flies and above the fire flames. So just to get a even closer look, I cropped that area of the picture and got this..............

There is no kind of trick photography of any kind here, trust me, because I can prove it with the original photo along with all the other photos taken from that night of this same fire! Now I know for sure I wasn't just seeing things!
What do you think and see?

Political Hanging Nooses
Oct 30, 2008 | 11:20 AM PST

News
What really got me while watching FOX news was about someone that placed a look a like Obama figure hanging from a tree on a college campus and now the FBI may investigate it as a hate crime! Even though it is halloween and things like this should be expected, this action that was apparently done by a college student is taken by a threatening crime of racisum and hate!!!
But yet someone else takes a manikin dressed up like Palin hanging from a noose and stated as that being OK! Sounds pretty racist to me when one is OK and the other isn't and considered a hate crime! It would seem that maybe some favoritisum is being politically protected by only one side! Now if those suggested political nooses where switched around on location...would it matter or looked at any differently?
So who's to say that its good enough and OK to do that towards Palin but aggressive and criminal when its done towards Obama? Twisted things like this is one of the problems for people to knowing the diverse differences between which is RIGHT and which is WRONG!
I don't know about you but this, to me, is showing a one sided hate crime which took presidence over the other...Both were wrong! What it shows me is its OK for a white person to be noosed but against the law on a black person! {Now that's what I call being one sided, racist, & sexist all in one shot!} Now I just can't help but wonder what culture those people are who had Palin displayed like that, plus also displayed McCain as a Halloween ordiment as well (which wasn't shown on FOX but only stated)!!!
What do you think? Is one being racist and the other not racist? Shouldn't both be looked at as the same or not?

A 4th Fireworks Explosion
Jul 15, 2008 | 10:28 AM PST

News
As some here know I went to the mountains (back home) to see my friends and family. We went to a fireworks display that is a traditional thing that has gone on for years from a wealthy family in Virginia. But this year for the first time ever, a dramatic unexpected explosion happened causing injury!
It would seem that you never know what could happen when carelessness and alcohol partake with fuses and gunpowder, (a major accident waiting to happen).
As the traditional fireworks started, everything was a thing of beauty which lit up the mountainside with colors of our fourth of July celebration! What we didn't understand is why they seemed to go off sooner then usual instead of way up in the sky like normal! We even wondered why they had other things going off so close to the lined up fire power of the bigger fireworks! Well, we got our answer in a way we kinda saw coming!
Apparently, the guys in charge of setting off the fireworks were drinking and to add cutting the fuses short. Now to us common since people that within itself is asking for problems to happen. And it did! One cut down fuse took off causing that set of fireworks to explode on the ground and a chain reaction then followed triggering all the other surrounding fireworks to go off as well. People went running to help the ones trapped within the line of fire thinking it was over and safe, and to get to those who where injured! Wrong call but good intent! Just as soon as they got to them a delayed reaction set off the rest of all the fireworks and all you could see is everyone running and diving to the ground as it exploded! Once that was over with there were already people calling 911! Three people were injured, one with multible burns throughout his body!
Why people take such chances such as this risking spectators as well is beyond me but hopfully there is a long time not forgotten lesson to be learned here now with smarter and wiser safety percausion that will be made for future traditional celebrations such as this! Thank goodness no one was killed, just scared for life! A display of fireworks no one could forget!
Any comments or opinions?

1st Time Ever ~ Not Feeling Safe!

News
I must say that all my life I have always lived quietly and comfortable within my country living! Where I come from we never locked doors or windows, never needed a weapon or dog for protection, never had to worry about trespassers, and never had that unsafe feeling, ever!
With all that has been going on, plus we are now in the open road range and privacy shot to h**l and no longer secluded, we have been encountering an increase of trafficking and trespassers! Here just within the past few days on my LITTLE small road, the parked vehicle scene has taken a sudden increase to where I NO LONGER FEEL SAFE IN MY OWN HOME ANYMORE! This is the first for me ever! I tell ya...I can not believe that it has finally come to something like this! But for some reason there is way too much activity a going on round here, and I'm not liking it!
The funny part of it all is at the other end of the entrence to our division there is nothing but woods with plenty of pull over parking room so why would everyone end up here by me? It is beyond any answer I can come up with!
I'm a packin' within my quick reach so I'm ready...just in case! Mercy is not an option!
Have you ever or now have that "Not Feeling Safe" feeling?

In Loving Memory of Lakota

I don’t know how many of you love animals as if they were family but here is a good and very sad story for you!
Lakota was my friend! She was other friends of mine big girl! She was a 6 year old Wolf and was also going to be a mother. We were excited about her having her own family started. Well the time came that concern set in because she was overdue on delivery. So off to her regular vet, had a sonogram and found out that she only had one puppy but she was huge so that puppy was too big for her to have natural and a “C-section was obviously needed, but the vet said to take her home for a day and see what happens. Now this VET has treated and cared for Lakota since she was a PUP. Her family always paid their bills and never stayed in dept with this VET so everyone trusted him…UNTIL…Lakota became worse and in a great deal of pain, here they go back to the vet’s office. He was told that she can’t deliver that puppy and she needs immediate help right now…if anything, take the puppy to save Lakota! Simple and tearful request so it would seem!!!! The vet said that he would do all he could for $300 up front! They didn’t have the cash and pleaded to allow them to make payments (payments which she clearly has had a very good record for paying), he refused and told them to take her back home and hope for the best>>>WHAT!!!
NEVER IN ANY OF OUR WILDEST DREAMS WOULD WE EXPECT THAT KIND OF TREATMENT! THE COMPLICATION KILLED HER!!! BOTH, SHE AND THE PUPPY, DIED ON THE WAY BACK HOME IN HER MOMMY'S ARMS!!!!
It has effected a number of people because Lakota was big part of our pack, our friend, our family…but to that same vet that knew her the majority of her life ALLOWED HER TO DIE OVER LACK OF CASH MONEY! If this is how this vet looks at animals now then it’s time for him to retire, he has lost heart…TOTALLY CRUEL AND HEARTLESS!
I’m going to miss my very good friend and side kick, a senseless and cruel painful death such as this……..I’m sorry, no words come to mind right now. All that keeps going through my mind is WHY???????
OVIEDO -- Toucan Willie's is/was one of Oviedo's best-known restaurants and sports bar but has closed its doors on its customers, employees, and booked entertainment. Their Website blames the economy for its troubles when in fact it had a lot to do with miss handling of funds and neglect to paying their dues.
The Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the agency responsible for maintaining liquor and food licenses for the state, the business failed to comply with reporting from May 2006 until June 2007 and the restaurant hasn't renewed the food service part of their license. The restaurant's liquor license was also in the process of being revoked over $4,571 in unpaid fees.
Pamela Cooke, said she is the current owner of Toucan Willie’s but according to public records, Toucan Willie's does not own the property. The owner listed at the Seminole County Property Appraiser's Web site is the Gordon L. Kiester Trust. The Florida State Department of Corporations, Toucan Willie's is a registered corporation. They list Daniel S. Friebis of Port Orange as a registered agent. The 2007 annual report also lists Christopher Cascio of Oviedo as a registered agent of the corporation but a 2008 report hasn't been filed.
Cascio said that the government should have taken him off their sites as the owner. He also claimed he had sold the business about "seven or eight months ago" to Alan and Pamela Cooke of Oviedo. No records of the sale could be found with the Seminole County Clerk of Courts or the Florida Department of Revenue's Websites to Pamela Cooke.
Toucan Willie's had a string of other financial problems, both before the sale and after. In June 2007, the Internal Revenue Service filed a federal tax lien for $24,437 for unpaid taxes in 2006. The lien was satisfied in June 2007, according to the IRS. Then, in October 2007, the Florida Department of Revenue filed a lien against the business for $37,733 but terminated the judgment in October 2007 after it was paid.
Not only did they close their doors to the public but also placed further hardship on their employees! According to one of their employees, Kristopher Denson, they owe him and others back pay and he had also just been informed that the last paycheck came back as NSF in which he would have to pay back that money along with the NSF added on charges. But this wasn’t the first and only time this kind of thing happened to him and the other employees! This happened before not to long ago! Now Mr. Denson and the other employees will have to face the hardship of being unemployed and paying back the money from their own labored paychecks! This looks to also become a class action civil suit for the employees to regain their losses, extra fees and charges applied against them, and three weeks of payroll dues!
All Pamela Cooke had to say about all this was, "It saddens us greatly but it was necessary to close Toucan Willie's. We are sorry to all who may be hurt as a result of its closing."
They are in the process of claiming bankruptcy! What's your take on this?

Following a heroic rescue of his son as the car sinks down into the mucky water of a pond, for some reason the police goes to his home to question him about who was driving the vehicle the very next day! Well of course I can understnad wanting his side of the story but that within itself could have only taken a phone call to this father! Now why he was approached instead of the owner of the car is beyond me! It would seem more beneficial to question the owner of the vehicle first! So why did the police feel they need to further question this father first? Is there something more to this then what is let on? At least he has been a completely honest person just to be brought down over the smell of pot when he opened the door....his first and biggest mistake which has now placed a bad check mark on him! Was this fair? Wouldn't you think the police would wish to question the owner of the vehicle first before any further investigation? What's your opinion?

BEWARE OF VIRUS!!!
ALERT ~ VIRUS & ADWARE within the program and infects through win32! MyWebSearch (Cursor Media) is a VIRUS!
This is to give fair warning on a program link here through FOX that WILL harm your computer and is full of ADWARE and is a VIRUS! Once you have downloaded and activated it, it takes days to clean things up and to get rid of all the THREATS that the program is full of. I have even found that for some reason and some how I can not remove the program from my control panel add/remove programs. Some how it locks itself in and the only way to control it is Scanning and Quarantine each and every threat within the program. If you haven't already clicked on the link but are thinking about it...DON'T DO IT OR YOU WILL REGRET IT! Watch out for MyWebSearch (Cursor Media) it may look interesting and cute but it is HARMFUL TO YOUR COMPUTER AND PROGRAMMING!
If you have Avast Antivirus then here is the procedure you need to follow to delete all infected parts within your computer....
Start scan, it will suggest you to restart your computer, comply and follow direction allowing it to complete scan following restart. It will ask what you wish to do to delete, press 2 to delete all, it will ask this again before completeing the scan...press 2 again to complete deleting! Once the scanning is complete, all threats are eliminated and your computer will be back on track and refreshes back to your Windows screen with success!
I just love my Avast Antivirus Software!!! So far it is the best I have ever had!
Fox...I'm ashamed and very disappointed with you for allowing such things to be linked to your website! Someone isn't doing their job here and now I will always question any link of advertising you may display!!!!!

To All HS Students & Parents

I will admit that Wekiva HS students did act before they thought it all out but it would seem they were desperate to draw attention to their argument with the School & School Board, (which BTW isn’t very popular right now), and with consequences too which they must face and take it like the almost grown young adults (teens) that they have shown us to be.
Fox’s coverage with the students walk out wasn’t the brightest moving with out thought but they did achieve their goal to get the attention they needed to get their point across. They are within your rights to be heard by all means, it took guts! KUDOS! One of my comments here in a post was as follows…..
They needed some guidance to let them know when and where is the best time. Right Time Right Place helps better, besides then maybe the parents would join in after work! Great intentions are best noticed when it follows the rule of Right Place Right Time. To bad too! But with the penalty....they made their statement known now and that is what they set out to do!
To Those Students...I agree with your reasons behind your actions but since you went about it the wrong way, you must still stand and take the penalty for your action and continue to STAND for rights to be heard...but in the correct manner next time please! You got our attention so now we are listening!"
The reason for this blog is to ask...
As a student, how do you feel about all this?
As Parent(s), would you have stood beside your child on this if done properly with full support?

There are a number of things that people use that requires batteries to run. There are regular batteries and rechargable batteries in which can even out last the chargers themselves. You even have to purchase a higher cost charger these days in order to get good charges with those recharged batteries!
Lately, the batteries I have purchased for some reason doesn't last very long at all, not nearly as long as they use too...so what's up with that? I use to work for a company in North Carolina building and testing batteries of all kinds and sizes so I am familiar with the process.
I can't help but wonder if these batteries sold is really getting a full charge before they are packed and shiped just to force more sales on the product! AAA, AA, C's and D's are the most common used for remote controls, ipod's, CD players, radio's, tape players, and so on! So far everything that I have used regular batteries on doesn't last nearly as long as they use too, so it does leave question in my mind on what is really going on here with these things.
I know, I know, use rechargables to make sure of a full charge...well even that isn't always convenient at certains times! I did some buy chargers and they haven't worked to well. So far since 2004 when we had all those hurricanes hit us in a very active year, I have gone through a number of them...even those radio's and lights you wind up to charge...alot of wasted money once you add it all up!
Have you by chance noticed the same thing?

Officer Takes On Large Gator
May 16, 2008 | 6:49 AM PST

News
There are hero's and then there are those who try to be the hero!
While coming home to a rude awakening, a young lady, in an apartment complex finds a 8 foot gator parked in one of the parking spaces. She kicks off her shoes and makes a run for it to her apartment to call police. The officer's that answered the call couldn't believe it. One of the officers actually tryed to wrestle the gator {As it just lies there catching some ZZZ's} by covering the Gators eyes with a towel, then jumps on top of this gator trying to secure it's snout! Well that Gator wasn't having any part of that kind of play so it threw the officer off and turned to bite the officer on the leg. The other officer tryed shooting at the gator, only to scare it a bit, and helped the down officer to safety! The officer has been reported as serious but stable condition. The Gator was taken down by a professional and killed!
The scenario to this.....Don't try to be the hero with a larger preditor that can eat you for breakfast!

"Watch out for them chompers!"
The officer took on something he had no business doing....unless you know what exactly you are doing and actually know how to deal with and handle, don't mess around with something much larger then you with sharp teeth that is a meat eater! Leave it for the professionals...and think before you act!
Should any officer place themselves in danger and try taking on things such as large Gator's like this? Good idea or BAD idea! What do you think?

Coming Soon! Five Bucks Worth....

We all know what one dollar is worth today....nothing! But coming soon is what the new Five dollar Bill will be worth! Soon after that it will be the new Ten Dollar Bill's worth and who knows....next may just be that Twenty Dollars worth!
The way gas prices keep climbing to an all new high and will in fact place more and more pressure to what money is actually worth in our future! As the price of gas rises, so will everything else including food! This is only the beginning of what is yet to still come for the American People!
It would seem we are well on our way to compete with Europe on prices! Lord forbid any other country to out do us, how dare they! Well I guess we'll show them!
Just to share what we can look forward too, no matter how we may feel, in reality coming very soon is our new Five Dollar Bill....................

Largest Gator or Croc

Florida is well known for their Gator's and Crock's! Below is a picture of one that was killed because of Yankee's which moved into a Florida neighborhood and freaked out when they seen it and had it killed! Needless to say they were then marked by all their neighbors because of it! This Gator lived among this neighborhood within their canal for many, many years and never bothered anyone or purposed as any kind of threat until the NEW neighbors moved in from New York. This Mammoth Gator was wrongly killed over FEAR only! Really sad story!

Here's what I would like to know...
What is the largest Gator or Croc you have ever seen in the wild?

VICTORY AT LAST!!!!!!
Last year I blogged and petitioned about fundings which was promised from OCC for the restoration of Christmas’s Historical School and other Historical building in which has been sitting for over 5 years now at “Fort Christmas Historical Park” located in Christmas, Florida! I set up a petition on line and gathered signatures with the help of others on the same petition! And I wish to thank everyone who signed! For at last we can say we have a VICTORY and the restoration is in full working gear now! The problem has finally been solved, the funding needed has been finally received, the building are on there way, and will be ready for viewing within the next two months! I hope everyone can make one family day to go and check it all out and see just what the community of Christmas was fighting for! It’s a great addition which has placed growth at "Fort Christmas"!
If you just happen to be around the area, please stop by and check out the restoration work in process! Come and join in on the sharing of history at “Fort Christmas”!
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO LENDED THEIR BLESSED HELPING HAND FOR THIS VICTORY!
