This is my new favorite movie, book, story....

The Freedom Writers name is a pun on the name of the civil rights group The Freedom Riders.  The Freedom Writers Foundation, in which does exist, has continued with the same kind of exercises and philosophy that is very similar to those used in the original class from which this movie was based on, and still tracks the progress of the original and continuing classes that is just as strong even today.  Students do have a choice but in some cases things can’t be avoided and them hurtles can get deadly when living in an area known for violence.  Plus even corruption within the school system that can either work for you, against you, or with you!

This movie is a really good movie so check it out, its educational and dramatic!  Watch it then let me know what your thoughts are!  You can rent the movie, watch it on TMC-W, channel 329 on dish, or read the book!

It is getting closer to that Halloween Trick or Treater day that all kids look forward too, including the big kids like me that wil never grow up...never grow up!

Getting all dressed up, going from door to door collecting them treats!  Those kids are proud of their picked costume and they just love showing it off.  But with some trick or treaters it may not be as much fun because they may have to travel into different areas in order to pick up some good treats for the collection!  The picture below explains it all because some neighborhoods may look like this.......

Poor sad little faces that I know I wouldn't want to see happen with any child!  But it is a reality that is now to be delt with!

Do you know of any neighborhoods like this? ...I hope not!  Are you set on the area to take your kids for their enjoyable Halloween treats and are familiar of its surroundings and of that neighborhood? ...I hope so!

Remember to check out everything your child collections from others especially those who travel else where!  Only you know what to look for....they don't!  Follow the 3 B's...Be Smart, Be Careful, Be Safe!!!!

Yep...here comes another weekend full of FUN and ADVENTURE which will cover different other areas besides Daytona!  Daytona was the start of it all but now has expanded both far and wide throughout other areas in Florida, including Orlando!

I like and prefer the Ormond Beach area!  That place has really grown and bikers have a wider verity of entertainment, products, food and thousands of Biker's!  The only minus is all the T's still say Daytona on them and I really feel like Ormond Beach should get their own honorable label just like all other areas should have their own!  In fact, even the "Destination Daytona", in which I have nick named "Biker Town", is located in Ormond Beach and not Daytona!

Of course and as always...Be Safe, Be Sensible, and Be Alert!  The three "B's" should keep you from harms way while feeling that freedom of the Wind and the joys of riding!  Along with that note: All you newbies on the roads now, (with the increase of motorcycle sales), stick with the three "B's" and you are always welcome to ride and join in my group anytime on the open roads...we'll look after yah!

So this weekend, for me that is, it's Ormond Beach Bound for Biketoberfest 2008!  And always remember that Bike Fest's aren't just for Bikers but for everyone to enjoy!  All are always WELCOME!

I just love October and the number of Biker activities that come with it!  This weekend is filled with the thundering sound of motorcycles as they travel the roads into Sanford and along Lake Monroe!  The street is blocked off from everything but bikes as the entertainment calls to you!  Even FOX's own Jim Van Fleet and The Riegn will be there to perform!

Three days of FUN & ADVENTURE, Entertainment & Food, Drinks & Products, Custom Bikes & Bikers!  YAHOOOOO...I just love October Activities!!!  I will try and get pictures to post in my album for yah...hopefully you will be able to get some of your own too as well!  Maybe I'll see you there!  If not then I hope you are enjoying yourself at one of the events that Christine has told you about or what ever it may be...be safe and please look out for those bikers on the roads!!!

You never know what lies ahead for tomorrow but when you work everyday so hard to establish a settled home life, you never really think things can and will turn around for the worst to happen!!!  Well it has and it did!!!

Since the major increases of oil, with everything else following afterwards, my business has taken a plunge!  Now after working for the same company for many, many years, my husband got the boot (layed off), now both of us out of work.  With no work around to be had for either of us and we can no longer pay our bills or mortgage, we have no other choice but to take a major loss and sell everything including our home we love so much!  It has forced us to give up everything we have worked for and then some!  The only choice we have now is to move on, (in a tent most likely) and make the best of what will be left somehow!

The reason I must say goodbye is not because I want too but because I have too!  I will be very busy trying to get things sold, fighting with the creditors and lenders, and one of the cut corners will be our phone line to where I will no longer be able to be here with you bloggers.  "Gotta do whatcha ya gotta do!"  I don't like it but reality isn't something you can push aside for later!  As they have been saying...cuts must be made!  It hurts, it bites, and I'm not looking forward to any ot it, trust me!  And just when things got back to the good ole blogging days, would'n you know it!

My main focus now is to try and save our credit record before it's too late {somehow}, I must salvage something to help get back into the swing of things in the future, don't you know!  Life is a challenge each and every day!  Never take things for granted because one day you may find it no longer there!  We have now become the victims of parvati & economic crisis!  "sigh"  When it rains...it can really poor!

I have fully enjoyed sharing my posts and comments with everyone here at FOX and I hope some day I will be able to return, (once I find the light again).  And thank you FOX for giving me this opportunity and privilege to blog here!I wish everyone here a blessed tomorrow as you live for today!!!  Best wishes, sweetest dreams, best of luck, and may your tomorrows always be fulfilled!

   Verne Troyer aka Mini-Me & Ex-girlfriend Ranae Shrider

Verne Troyer, best known for his role as Dr. Evil’s Mini-Me in the Austin Powers films, has filed a lawsuit against TMZ.com over a sex tape.  The lawsuit states that the 39-year old sent several letters to TMZ.com before and after the site decided to post parts of a sex tape which he recorded with his former girlfriend.  Troyer stated though that all of his letters to TMZ went completely ignored.  Troyer filed the multimillion dollar federal lawsuit at the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles.  He stated that TMZ violated his privacy rights, and also infringed upon his copyright and trademark.  Verne Troyer filmed himself and his ex-girlfriend indulging in sexual activities in their apartment.

Also named in the lawsuit was Kevin Blatt, who distributed the sex tape.  The footage was apparently taken by a third party and now celebrity porn broker Kevin Blatt – who was instrumental in the releasing the now infamous  Paris Hilton sex tape – is allegedly set to pay $US100,000  ($104,430) for the footage. Verne Troyer says the sex tape was stolen, mysteriously ending up in the hands of Kevin Blatt, the dude that distributed “One Night in Paris.”  Mini-Me, Verne Troyer is seeking $20 million in damages, as well as attorney’s fees and an injunction to stop the tape from being shown again.

Who was this mystery woman….non other then Ranae Shrider!  A photo with Shrider and Troyer was taken before the release of her filmed tryst with Troyer - of her alongside Paris Hilton, the very woman that starred in “One Night in Paris” and has a relationship with Blatt.  The 22-year-old actress lived with The Love Guru star for six months and thought she would marry him.

Verne Troyer is the latest in a long line of stars that have had their recorded bedroom activities leaked to the public.  As well as Paris Hilton’s “One Night In Paris”, Pamela Anderson, Colin Farrell and Tom Sizemore have all appeared in sex tapes.

It doesn’t matter how small or how big you may be when it comes to Show Biz because nothing is sacrate when you’re a star!

I got this email that gave me a giggle and laugh so I wanted to share it with you...

In the year 2008, the Lord came unto Noah, who was now living in the United States, and said, 'Once again, the earth has become wicked and over-populated, and I see the end of all flesh before me'. 'Build another Ark and save 2 of every living thing along with a few good humans'. He gave Noah the blueprints, saying, 'You have 6 months to build the Ark before I will start the unending rain for 40 days and 40 nights.' Six months later, the Lord looked down and saw Noah weeping in his yard - but no Ark.

'Noah!' He roared, 'I'm about to start the rain! Where is the Ark?' 'Forgive me, Lord,' begged Noah, 'but things have changed. I needed a building permit. I've been arguing with the inspector about the need for a sprinkler system. My neighbors claim that I've violated the neighborhood zoning laws by building the Ark in my yard and exceeding the height limitations. We had to go to the Development Appeal Board for a decision. Then the Department of Transportation demanded a bond be posted for the future costs of moving power lines and other overhead obstructions, to clear the passage for the Ark's move to the sea. I told them that the sea would be coming to us, but they would hear nothing of it'. 'Noah continued, getting the wood was another problem. There's a ban on cutting local trees in order to save the spotted owl. I tried to convince the environmentalists that I needed the wood to SAVE the owls - but no go! When I started gathering the animals, an animal rights group sued me. Then the EPA ruled that I couldn't build the Ark until they'd conducted an environmental impact study on your proposed flood.

I'm still trying to resolve a complaint with the Human Rights Commission on how many minorities I'm supposed to hire for my building crew. Immigration and Naturalization are checking the green-card status of most of the people who want to work. The trades unions say I can't use my sons. They insist I have to hire only Union workers with Ark-building experience. To make matters worse, the IRS seized all my assets, claiming I'm trying to leave the country illegally with endangered species. So, forgive me, Lord, but it would take at least 10 years for me to finish this Ark.  Suddenly the skies cleared, the sun began to shine, and a rainbow stretched across the sky.  Noah looked up in wonder and asked, 'You mean you're not going to destroy the world?' 'No,' said the Lord. 'The government beat me to it.'

On American Idol and the elimination night, they take in phone calls with callers asking questions to either the judges ~ Randy, Paula, & Simon, or the Idol’s.  This past elimination night a doozy of a question was asked for Simon!  This question opened up a new secrete about Simon!  “The question was whose kiss would he scale the best between the kiss that he gave to Paula or the kiss he received about 15 years ago?”  She went on to say where and when!

Now Simon has been denying his breakup with Terri but the look upon Simon’s expression made him twinkle and light up and didn’t deny anything she had to say about it!  He knew who she was and even said that was a long time ago and he was 9!  That confused me because he is 48, born in 1959 and 15 years ago would have put he at the age of 33!  Well that got my curiosity going with this story of Simon’s past!

Simon Stated & Claimed...

...Tara was his first crush

...He was the age of 9

Of course Simon and his up front personality asked Tara if she still looks the same!  Tara replied that Simon has aged very well and she feels she has too! (hint, hint~wink, wink)  "This conversation sounded like an invitational meeting which may come about between the two again and willing from both sides!"

Simon admitted it all and even was the one that opened that can of insight by giving out her last name!  He still didn’t answer the question though but he now has his X’s phone number…which I’m sure he called right after the show of course!

Dolly Parton is a house hold name with my family and she had the pleasure and fun sharing her hit songs and music with the nine American Idols finalists this week!  I love her songs and talent, the Idols made her proud with their song choices and performances!  All of them gave a great performance!

David Cook still Cooked on stage with his version of  "Little Sparrow"!  This time it was a night for Kristy and she brought it singing one of my favorite "Coat of Many Colors"!  My other favorite song was “Jolene” by Brooke!

There have been allot of famous people throughout our history books the have placed a permenant imprint on America and it's people!  People who set a big impact within our worlds are the very people that have earned to be remembered within everyone hearts, minds, and books!  We all have someone famous we look up too!

Do you ever wonder why some people excel in life while others seem to fade away? What makes one persons life more fulfilling that another.  What did these people do that made them great thinkers, achievers, leaders, writers and philanthropists?

What was it that made them persistent? Was it fear or reward? Somehow these great people left their imprint on the world that the majority of us cant or wont.
