Farewell My FOX Blogging Friends...'sighing

You never know what lies ahead for tomorrow but when you work everyday so hard to establish a settled home life, you never really think things can and will turn around for the worst to happen!!!  Well it has and it did!!!

Since the major increases of oil, with everything else following afterwards, my business has taken a plunge!  Now after working for the same company for many, many years, my husband got the boot (layed off), now both of us out of work.  With no work around to be had for either of us and we can no longer pay our bills or mortgage, we have no other choice but to take a major loss and sell everything including our home we love so much!  It has forced us to give up everything we have worked for and then some!  The only choice we have now is to move on, (in a tent most likely) and make the best of what will be left somehow!

The reason I must say goodbye is not because I want too but because I have too!  I will be very busy trying to get things sold, fighting with the creditors and lenders, and one of the cut corners will be our phone line to where I will no longer be able to be here with you bloggers.  "Gotta do whatcha ya gotta do!"  I don't like it but reality isn't something you can push aside for later!  As they have been saying...cuts must be made!  It hurts, it bites, and I'm not looking forward to any ot it, trust me!  And just when things got back to the good ole blogging days, would'n you know it!

My main focus now is to try and save our credit record before it's too late {somehow}, I must salvage something to help get back into the swing of things in the future, don't you know!  Life is a challenge each and every day!  Never take things for granted because one day you may find it no longer there!  We have now become the victims of parvati & economic crisis!  "sigh"  When it rains...it can really poor!

I have fully enjoyed sharing my posts and comments with everyone here at FOX and I hope some day I will be able to return, (once I find the light again).  And thank you FOX for giving me this opportunity and privilege to blog here!I wish everyone here a blessed tomorrow as you live for today!!!  Best wishes, sweetest dreams, best of luck, and may your tomorrows always be fulfilled!

Oh Di I am so sorry. I've been hearing many friends and neighbors of mine all trying to keep things together and can no longer survive. I hope we can hang in there long enough for things to pick up again.
Please know that you are going to be very missed here, but whenever you can get to the library drop us a line and let us all know how you are doing.

One thing I must share with everyone is something I just found out today with my mortgage holder and all it took was a phone call expressing our concerns. They told me that we can apply what is called a moderation of contract. It's a 90 day process in which you are oblicated to still pay your regular monthly payments but once everything is processed then they lower your monthly payments to a more affordable payment plan and lower the interest rate for you which can only be a temporary fix set for 3 to 5 years and then it goes back to the original contracted payments. I didn't know that until I called them to see if there were any kind of options they had to offer that may help in our situation. I know there are alot of other people that doesn't know this I'm sure!

Di, I'm sorry that you have to go through this stage in your life,but think of it only as a stage and not a destination.I pray that God will bless you with enough resources to help stabilize you and your family through out this tough time. You will be missed,Hope to see you back on track soon. :)

I'm hoping that FOX keeps me active just in case I am able to work something out with our phone line and internet connections, this may take a while to accomplish, maybe even months before I can get back here! It's going to be a long tough road ahead and I plan to fight it every step of the way too! I was tiggled to death to know that my mortgage holder is willing to work with us at least and hope that part will work out. MAN, how I'm going to miss being here in the mean time!!!!!!!!

Sorry I have not been around , hope you can work things out....you do know that if you need anything just ask , also I do have an open wi-fi over here you can barrow one of my rigs any time or even just bring your laptop and pop in from the front yard (it will work ad-hock or infrastructure , in case I am not around )

BTBW, if you're old enough (not sure of the age or if there is one), look into a REVERSE MORTGAGE through HUD, my mother-in-law did this and she is allowed to live and stay in her home MORTGAGE FREE until she dies. She is saving herself a whopping $780 month since she no longer needs to worry about a mortgage on her home.

BTW: I KNOW what you mean about employment, I'm still trying to locate work myself and have been since mid-March 2008.

Di, I was going to tell you about the modification of your mortgage, but evidently you already know of it. I too am in nearly the same situation and talked to the bank (Bank of America) and as of today, I am in that process. My wife is working two jobs and I am working part time as a school crossing guard but we were forced into this situation not of our own accord. Long story there and I don't want to bore you with what happened. I will also say a prayer or two for you and yours. Keep the faith and keep your head up as high as possible. I wish you the best and truly hope it all works out for you.

Di, i know how you feel I told my husband whom is know down to 4 days a week and hoping to have a job next week if this keeps up we to will be cutting everything but just the basics.Best of luck to you and keep your chin up as much as possible.

pimplebutt...here's a suggestion...take more baths because you stink, soap and water is our friend and keeps us cleaner from strong BO! So scrub scrub scrub your body along with your butt and mouth and just maybe your pimplebutt problem will go away!

I don't know you Di, but I'm so sorry for what you're going through!! Just when you think your life is hard, you meet someone whose life is even harder. I hope that things improve for you quickly and that you can keep your house!! God bless you and keep you in his care!! And as for Pimplebutt, what can you expect from someone who picks that for a screen name?! Don't you have any compassion for other people?! You better hope you never get knocked off that pedestal you've got yourself on!!

check with the phone company you may be able to get phone service for 8.95 a month and then theres a couple of internet services like people pc thats free you just have to put up with the adds and its dial up
