Just how far will politicians go to get your vote?  Can they buy it?  Can they offer you free gifts?  What would it take to get your vote or to get you to register for voting in hopes you will vote their way?  Does it take gifts to persuade you to register and vote or vote their way?  Is this legal?

 

 

The picture provided is something that caught my eye when it appeared (pop-up) after logging on the internet!  I can't help but think about just how far a politician would take it to get people on their side and to vote for them!  After all, weak minded people that don't know any better would be sucked in or persuaded too easily!  To me, those are the very people who vote carelessly....it's no wonder we are in the fix we are in now!  To think that politicians are able to stoop so low and actually know that people are that gullible is so scary it's pathetic!  Just how low, desperate, and gullible can people really be!

Sorry, but this kind of thing pissed me off!  On second thought, they are the sorry ones!

Buying votes has been a long standing tradition. Vote for me and I will take money out of those who worked hard, risked everything and give it to those who played hard and risked nothing!

We toss history out the window, and Americans tend to be waken from a political slumber every few years or so, grab their attention, then glaze them back over and lull them back to sleep again!

This time however, the Americans from EVERY class get a rude awakening everytime they go to the pump! No other time other than war or say and event like 9/11 do we wake up! But the drain of disposable and vital income by the gas pump this time refuses Americans the luxiery of a short term memory. You may forget about 9/11 but you can't forget in a few days you will be forking out 75 to 100 bucks at the pump!

OMG.........I LOVE THIS NEW AVATAR......LOVE BETTY. I think this politicians would go to extremes for votes legal or not. Yep, they would even offer stupid jobs and/or some sort of pay-out (of course that's illegal but hey who would talk if some poor person was offer a few hundred bucks for a vote) IT STINKS but it has happened and it will continue to happen.

The last eight years in America shows what lengths, legal or illegal, ethical or unethical, a political party will go to in order to ensure the voting record keeps it in power. It's a stain on our national well-being and honor that's costing us dearly.

sensiblejoe.. I agree!! All those darn liberals that vote for things then can't vote for the funding to go with it! But the worst is Democrats that cry foul about voting policy and procedure and loosing elections when they swear to having the popular vote, and now we know why! Those superdelegates that were designed to steal the democrat electorate's voice! It certainly is a stain on our nation and cost half the electorate dearly! Ask any Hillary supporter!

WELL I have to agree with ABunai on this one. I've seen also during election FORGET THE FREE STUFF.....they had hundreds of absentee ballots the ONLY PROBLEM THE PEOPLE VOTING WERE DEAD.........seriously......dead for many years......while working on a mayoral campaign it was discovery that 1/3 of the ballots were DEAD PEOPLE.......I couldn't believe it and it was then when I started realizing THE SADNESS of these elections.
