Thank goodness at least the gas is coming down on price but what about everything that was raised now due to the increased pricing of fuel!  Will prices of everything else effected by the economy start also coming down?  A pondering question left to be answered!!!

But as a little reminder...please don't forget what happened and don't let this change much of your driving habits you have had to learn how to do!  Use this knowledge to keep things going as it may gradually get better and better by everyone using what we have learned and make it work for us for a change!  This effect on gas prices has to be from people being conservitive!  WE did it with the help of Mother Nature and her not slamming us with Hurricanes this year so take advantage of the good that is now showing and work with it...not against it and gets us right back to where we were!  Let's keep that within our history and past and work forward as the wiser!!!  We my have another chance at this so don't waste it!  Let's get America BACK!!!  Let's Show Our Government just how truly little they are!

Save the FUEL!  Put things RIGHT AMERICA!  WE Can Do this!!!  Everything went haywire with the rise of prices...now we have the chance to keep it going our way and all we needed was that relief with fuel prices and we all worked hard to fight through it so why not take advantage of the very thing that was a big part of bringing us down!  United We Stand!  Use what we have all started learning and have learned on what is needed to make things right!  Let's really make the Greedy look bad and stand out, then bring them down!  America Shall Rise Again "By the People"!

I first have to give double KUDOS to that brave, brave mother that did it all right and turned a tragedy into a blessing!  She did everything she could so "My friends...a toast to this years Mother of the Year 2008"!  She now has her own mission and I wish her all the best!  YOU GO GIRL!

I had started cooking dinner while Titanic was on!  All of a sudden, plus I forgot about, they cut off the movie to show the end of the game between the Socks and Rays!  I had totally forgotten about it and was glad they interrupted the movie to show it!  Things were really intense with the game and our eyes became glued to the TV screen and the game.  Even through all the excitement and the movie cut-off interruption…what do you suppose happened at the most important part of the game?

We were watching the game as it became more intense on the last inning!  Then those darn Commercial Ads just had to come on and interrupt during the most intense part of the whole game…next thing I knew once the game came back on…IT WAS OVER ~ WE MISSED IT!  We didn’t even get to watch the end of it and only hear about the Socks taking the victory over our Rays!!!  Boy what a let down through all ends!  Funny how a movie wasn’t as important for the game but them darn Commercials were!!!  I was Major League PISSED!  They can mess with what ever program I may have been watching for something as important as that game but NO COMMERCIAL comes close as important as the final part and results of the game in which they had already interrupted the movie over by NO MEANS!!!!!!  How dare they...and How Rude!

This is a day for tears for all Floyd Heads like me.  A great loss to musicians today when the announcement was made of Rick's passing!  It has not yet been said what form of cancer it was that took this great artist away from us.

Rick Wright, founder of Pink Floyd was a great self-taught keyboard player appeared on the group's first album, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, in 1967 alongside lead guitarist Syd Barrett, Roger Waters and Nick Mason. One of the BEST musicians, song writters, performer and entertainer that is already a big part of history and live on through all who has appreciated a great man! Rest in Peace My Brother!

I have been a Floyd fan since I was 10 years of age which would have made me a fan since the first album released!  So what if I'm old...I know it and still ROCK ON with the best of them!  I will always be one of their biggest fans till the day I pass on!  So what can I say....I'm a proud FLOYD HEAD!!!

Please give a moment of silence for a great musician......................

I like this Politician...and I don't like POLITITCIANS!!!  Just ask anyone who knows me...but I like this one!!!

She's fresh, she knows what the people need and look for, she is down with the way government, state, county, and city spending is being abused, and so on and so on!

Importantly..........SHE ROCKED!!!!

You never know what lies ahead for tomorrow but when you work everyday so hard to establish a settled home life, you never really think things can and will turn around for the worst to happen!!!  Well it has and it did!!!

Since the major increases of oil, with everything else following afterwards, my business has taken a plunge!  Now after working for the same company for many, many years, my husband got the boot (layed off), now both of us out of work.  With no work around to be had for either of us and we can no longer pay our bills or mortgage, we have no other choice but to take a major loss and sell everything including our home we love so much!  It has forced us to give up everything we have worked for and then some!  The only choice we have now is to move on, (in a tent most likely) and make the best of what will be left somehow!

The reason I must say goodbye is not because I want too but because I have too!  I will be very busy trying to get things sold, fighting with the creditors and lenders, and one of the cut corners will be our phone line to where I will no longer be able to be here with you bloggers.  "Gotta do whatcha ya gotta do!"  I don't like it but reality isn't something you can push aside for later!  As they have been saying...cuts must be made!  It hurts, it bites, and I'm not looking forward to any ot it, trust me!  And just when things got back to the good ole blogging days, would'n you know it!

My main focus now is to try and save our credit record before it's too late {somehow}, I must salvage something to help get back into the swing of things in the future, don't you know!  Life is a challenge each and every day!  Never take things for granted because one day you may find it no longer there!  We have now become the victims of parvati & economic crisis!  "sigh"  When it rains...it can really poor!

I have fully enjoyed sharing my posts and comments with everyone here at FOX and I hope some day I will be able to return, (once I find the light again).  And thank you FOX for giving me this opportunity and privilege to blog here!I wish everyone here a blessed tomorrow as you live for today!!!  Best wishes, sweetest dreams, best of luck, and may your tomorrows always be fulfilled!

At last things seem to be back to the good ole days without having to be approved on everything now....does this mean we are now off probation?  It feels good to be able to comment again as it was before so thank you FOX for the restoration to blogging!

Gas mix with ethanol seems to be failing among consumers!  Things have been happening shortly following the 10% ethanol being added to the fuel mixture and people are getting frustrated because…

…they are paying the same amount per gallon.

…it costs consumers even more in the when they need to make more fill up’s.

…their vehicle performance does not give that 100% needed.

…they are getting lesser gas mileage out from it but paying the same price of regular non-mixed fuel.

Shouldn’t the price differences have started to show after those who post the 10% Ethanol warning?  

And if the mixed fuel is priced the same of the non-mix, then it would be better invested towards the non-mix fuel for better mileage for your vehicle.  So where exactly does the better quality savings really stand?

Made from the World Trade Center, the USS New York was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the World Trade Center.  It is the fifth in a new class of warship - designed for missions that include special operations against terrorists.  It will carry a crew of 360 sailors and 700 combat-ready Marines to be delivered ashore by helicopters and assault craft. 

Steel from the World Trade Center was melted down in a foundry in  Amite , LA to cast the ship's bow section. When it was poured into the molds on Sept 9, 2003, 'those big rough steelworkers treated it with total reverence,' recalled Navy Capt. Kevin Wensing,who was there. 'It was a spiritual moment for everybody there.' 

Junior Chavers, foundry operations manager, said that when the trade center steel first arrived, he touched it with his hand and the 'hair on my neck stood up.' 'It had a big meaning to it for all of us,' he said.  'They knocked us down.  They can't keep us down.  We're going to be back.'

Just how far will politicians go to get your vote?  Can they buy it?  Can they offer you free gifts?  What would it take to get your vote or to get you to register for voting in hopes you will vote their way?  Does it take gifts to persuade you to register and vote or vote their way?  Is this legal?

The picture provided is something that caught my eye when it appeared (pop-up) after logging on the internet!  I can't help but think about just how far a politician would take it to get people on their side and to vote for them!  After all, weak minded people that don't know any better would be sucked in or persuaded too easily!  To me, those are the very people who vote carelessly....it's no wonder we are in the fix we are in now!  To think that politicians are able to stoop so low and actually know that people are that gullible is so scary it's pathetic!  Just how low, desperate, and gullible can people really be!

Sorry, but this kind of thing pissed me off!  On second thought, they are the sorry ones!

You are going to LOVE this one.  It's what I would call "Bright People"!

A friend of mine was telling me about an experience she and her man had at a gas station with some "Bright People" (Dumb or Intellegent)!  Of course there are two definitions discribing the term "Bright People" in which you will be able to interpret easily!

They pulled in to get gas on the way home for the week's travel for work.  A younger couple pulled up on the other side of the pump, the girl set it to pump itself, left it running and fulling up to go into the store.  Now comes the good part!  The pump flowed over and spayed everything around including some on my friends, that's how far it sprayed so everything around was gased up.  My friend quickly yelled for her man about it and he quickly grabed the pump to shut it off and called 911 to get the fire department out there quick!  The guy in the car got out to see what was going on and at the same time LIT UP A SMOKE (Bright Boy) while inquiring towards my friends on what happened!  The first thing out of my friends mouth was, "I don't think you really want to smoke right now because for one there is gas everywhere that will ignite since your pump never stopped after it was full giving you a $98 gas bill to be paid!"  Well the "Bright Boy" looked at the pump cost showing and commented as he puffed away, "Man, that's alot of gas"!

My friend then told her man to move their vehicle quickly and ran into the store and told the clerk what happened and that she had called for the fire department out there!  The fire department had to clean up all that wasted gas because of "Bright People"!

I can't help but wonder just how many more "Bright People" is out there and it's a scary thought that "Bright People" of the dumb side just doesn't think!  How can people really be so dumb, careless, and wasteful?

As some here know I went to the mountains (back home) to see my friends and family.  We went to a fireworks display that is a traditional thing that has gone on for years from a wealthy family in Virginia.  But this year for the first time ever, a dramatic unexpected explosion happened causing injury!

It would seem that you never know what could happen when carelessness and alcohol partake with fuses and gunpowder, (a major accident waiting to happen).

As the traditional fireworks started, everything was a thing of beauty which lit up the mountainside with colors of our fourth of July celebration!  What we didn't understand is why they seemed to go off sooner then usual instead of way up in the sky like normal!  We even wondered why they had other things going off so close to the lined up fire power of the bigger fireworks!  Well, we got our answer in a way we kinda saw coming!

Apparently, the guys in charge of setting off the fireworks were drinking and to add cutting the fuses short.  Now to us common since people that within itself is asking for problems to happen.  And it did!  One cut down fuse took off causing that set of fireworks to explode on the ground and a chain reaction then followed triggering all the other surrounding fireworks to go off as well.  People went running to help the ones trapped within the line of fire thinking it was over and safe, and to get to those who where injured!  Wrong call but good intent!  Just as soon as they got to them a delayed reaction set off the rest of all the fireworks and all you could see is everyone running and diving to the ground as it exploded!  Once that was over with there were already people calling 911!  Three people were injured, one with multible burns throughout his body!

Why people take such chances such as this risking spectators as well is beyond me but hopfully there is a long time not forgotten lesson to be learned here now with smarter and wiser safety percausion that will be made for future traditional celebrations such as this!  Thank goodness no one was killed, just scared for life!  A display of fireworks no one could forget!

With every sport there are risks, injury, and competition!  They say no to girls who wish to try out for football and have even commented for them to try out for cheer leading!  Well isn’t that a contradiction statement?   Cheer Leading is also with very high risks of injury or even death but yet it is good enough for both genders!  Yes, football players are big boys but I’ve also seen some women just as big….but yet they may get hurt or be treated differently, well you can also say that about gays!  And let’s not forget the fans of both genders with kids!

Equal rights are still giving stipulations when it comes to the female gender!  It’s maybe one thing in professional sports such as football because of their rules and regulations, written by men BTW, but school’s are for all and should be totally an equal opportunity…period!  No since in separating anything within any part of the school’s other wise it is discriminating against one gender over the other.  So is this what our children need to learn is that the male gender are never over ridden and there are gender separations due to the difference in body parts (different gender)?

What does equal right opertunilty within our school's mean to you and don't you think that's FAIR or not?  Or is the statement we all have given and recieved "Be All You Can Be" and "There's Nothing You Can't Do If You Apply Yourself Right", all based on words alone?  What do you think?
