Good morning my friends, I have been out for a few days, as many know my grandfather passed away and I was in Jersey, helping my grandmother out.  Well now I am back and to my surprise I will be on the desk at 5-am with Lauren for a couple of weeks.

I just want to say to those who are up at that time that please feel free to contact me with any ideas and/or suggestions...

Alexis..

Welcome back, Alexis!

I'm glad you were able to help your grandmother in this difficult time. May God give all of your family strength to deal with your grandfather's loss.

It is a nice surprise to see you as a Co-Anchor with Lauren at 5 AM.

Love it, just love it! ~ LOL

Alexis,

Sorry to hear about your grandma. I too lost mine 3 years ago. I spoke at the funeral. One of the things I said (and I am sure your Grandma was no different) is how she had this talent to make me feel as though I was the most important grandchild even though she had 7 and I had 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Grandmas are the best! Cherish the great and fond memories you do have.

Hi Alexis!

How's the weather up in Jersey? I haven't been there in almost 6 years, I miss it! I am a native and proud of it! :)

Anyway, so sorry to hear about your grandfather. My condolences to you and your family.

I'm not up at 5 AM (too early for me) but hopefully you'll have another chance to anchor at 6 sometime! You're such a cutie ;) :)

Take care,

JerseyGirl 4ever

God bless you and your family. Unfortunatly we don't go through life without loosing loved ones. I've been through it a couple of time myself. Take of yourself, and look around you to see what God has blessed you with.

Hola everyone, I have been back in Florida for almost a year now, and it is great to be back and part of the FOX 35 News Team. I am amazed of how many people remember me from when I was a National/International Reporter for Telemundo Network... For nine years I was assigned to New York and Puerto Rico... But what is even more interesting is that I met a woman from South Africa and a gentlemen from Russia who knew who I was. They remembered me from the Network show I was on, then I remembered it was such a popular show (a spanish dateline) it was sold to other countries, 25 to be exact and translated to their corresponding languages.. Before FOX 35, I was the main News Anchor at Univision 23 / Dallas, Texas. It was a great experience being a part of a team that became the number one news station in that market... Well I hope to hear from you, share your thoughts and ideas... SALUDOS A TODOS =)... Alexis
