What's going on with the Boston Red Sox? After blowing out the Indians in Game 1 of the ALCS they dropped an extra inning marathon and now the Indians have grabbed a 2-1 lead after beating the Sox 4-2 last night. Is Josh Beckett really the only starter the Sox can rely on? Can Tim Wakefield get the job done tonight against Paul Byrd? What happened to our lineup...we only scored two runs against Westbrook?

This series obviously has not gone the way the Sox wanted it to go, but they just need to win one game to bring the series back to Boston. Do you think the Sox will pull it out and beat the Indians? Does it even matter with the way the Rockies have been playing? We want to hear from you so start posting your comments and for all the latest Sox playoff coverage click here.

I gotta tell you the Sox offense has been extremely disappointing to me, but with that said I'm impressed with the Indians bullpen. They have completely shut down the Sox and even the shaky Joe Borowski sealed the deal last night. I'd love to see Wake give them 6-7 innings tonight, but I'm starting to get worried. The one good thing about baseball is that momentum does not exist and with a win tonight the Sox will be sitting in the driver's seat. Let's go Sox!

As for the Rockies I'm hoping they completely cool off while they wait to hopefully face the Sox. I've never seen a team on a roll like this and it's pretty damn scary.

Let's blow the smoke away from this situation. First off, both Cleveland and the Red Sox are excellent teams. They had a basically comparable record. So why would anyone be surprised at where this series is?

Secondly, if you total runs over three games, Cleveland is ahead by only two runs.

Thirdly, arguable, the difference in this series comes down to a coaching error. No one in his right mind would have put Gag-Me in in Game 2. Tito had a psychotic moment.

Fourthly, and finally, the answer to your question about Wake is, Sure he can, if his back is healthy enough. If Tito gets him out quick enough if things go bad, ur bullpen is strong enough to cover the rest.

I'm not sure if Wake will pull it off. I'd like to see him get the win but some of the Sox bats have to liven up a little to help him out. The way I see it, if the Sox don't take tonights game you might as well stick a fork in them, cuz they're done.
