Can we really complain with the jobs of Terry Francona and Theo Epstein? I mean the Sox won the World Series in 2004, won the division this season and currently in a tight series with the Indians for the right to face the Rockies. However, here in Boston, if you were to read the papers or listen to talk radio you'd think the Sox were the Kansas City Royals.
Francona seems to upset everyone with his theory of "I'm gonna stick with the players who got me this far," which the players but guess what...we're not players. As fans we want to see the young and exciting players but more importantly we want to see guys that oh I don't know give us the best chance to win. Even though Jacoby Ellsbury has limited experience (33 games) in the regular season let alone the postseason why should we have to deal with guys like Crisp or Drew. Neither has produced all season and Crisp was pretty bad last season as well (although we all chalked it up to his finger injury). The team has struggled offensively with Crisp and Draw at the bottom of the lineup so why not shake things up. It's not like we're calling for Kielty or Hinkse (those of you that are need to get your heads checked), but we are calling for a young and exciting player who can do no worse than Crisp or Drew.
Do you agree? Would you start Jacoby Ellsbury? If so, who would you start him in place of? Click here to sign the petition.

This looks like the Sox of old where innings end with men left on base and the only runs scored come on solo bombs. Last night the Sox went back-to-back-to-back but that was it as Lowell, Crisp, Mirabelli and Lugo all went hitless. So far only Youkilis, Oritz and Manny have stepped up and after that this series has turned into a disaster.
The Sox starting pitching (once considered one of the top rotations in baseball) has been rocked by the Indians most notably Casey Blake and Jhonny Peralta. Are the Sox done? Would you make any lineup changes? We want to hear your thoughts and for more playoff coverage click here.

What's going on with the Boston Red Sox? After blowing out the Indians in Game 1 of the ALCS they dropped an extra inning marathon and now the Indians have grabbed a 2-1 lead after beating the Sox 4-2 last night. Is Josh Beckett really the only starter the Sox can rely on? Can Tim Wakefield get the job done tonight against Paul Byrd? What happened to our lineup...we only scored two runs against Westbrook?
This series obviously has not gone the way the Sox wanted it to go, but they just need to win one game to bring the series back to Boston. Do you think the Sox will pull it out and beat the Indians? Does it even matter with the way the Rockies have been playing? We want to hear from you so start posting your comments and for all the latest Sox playoff coverage click here.
