Fellow Bloggers:

This is a simple survey.  The only response needed is a yes or no to each of the following five (5) questions.  Supporting comments for your answers are welcome.  I've placed my answers and comments after each question.

Question 1:  If you (your wife, daughter, niece, mother, granddaughter, etc.) became pregnant as a result of rape and/or incest, should abortion be allowed?

My answer.  Yes.  If my daughter (or me) fell victim to either of these situations, I want the right to abort, and the same option reserved for my daughter.  There is no reason a woman/girl should have to forcibly carry the result of a violent act for 9 months of her life.

Question 2:  Should birth control measures (note: abortion not being considered as a form of birth control) be covered under insurance plans?

My answer:  Yes.  My answer includes birth control measures for men.

Question 3:  Should Viagra be covered under insurance plans if birth control is not covered?

My answer:  No.

Question 4:  Does your current choice for President/VP support your position in Questions 1-3 of this survey?

My answer:  Yes.  Obama/Biden support my position.

Question 5:  Does your current competitor of your choice for President/VP support your position in Questions 1-3 of this survey?

My answer.  No.  McCain/Palin do not support my position.  Palin opposes abortion even in the case of rape or incest.  McCain voted against Senate measures that sought to require insurance companies to cover birth control.  When asked about his view on health insurance coverage for Viagra, McCain didn't want to discuss the issue.  Here's a link showing McCain field the question on birth control vs. Viagra being covered by insurance plans.   http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/07/

Thank you, fellow bloggers.

When one tells me "Thank you," I respond with "You're welcome."  I noticed that the "You're welcome" response is more frequently being replaced with "No problem."  This response pops up in all areas, whether it be in customer service, food and restaurant, co-workers and friends, etc.

In my opinion, the "No problem" response comes across as sounding as if, at that moment in time, it was not a problem for that person to assist (or whatever), because I just happened to catch them at a good time.

What ever happened to the polite "You're welcome" response to a "Thank you?"
